Price point is there. Quality components.
Had a shop install it so they could do my pitman, idler, lower ball joints and so it could be aligned afterwards.Leveled as it should. Can shove 33” tries with only a bit of rub at full lock. (05 Suburban 2500 4x4) the shocks ride great, had some stock height replacement KYB after the Autoride shocks failed and the RC shocks feel just as good if not better despite the larger bore and more aggressive valving. Truck looks great. Glad I went with this over a more expensive option. The price point is great and all components work within tolerances.

A great lift
The fit and finish was great. All the hardware fit correctly and the hardware was even marked made in the United States. I like to Support companies like this that are made in the United States.. everything was included in the kit. You can install it without buying any extra parts. But I would highly recommend ordering a set of shock boots.

Don’t Buy
Don’t buy this lift kit. Spend the money for a decent kit. I went cheap with this one. Yes, it lifted my truck. The instructions were pretty decent. Otherwise, it turned my suspension into a jackhammer. Particularly, the shocks SUCK!!!! The front kept wearing out the top mounting bushings. Like, they would only last a couple of weeks. And, I have a company car so I don’t drive a lot. Their shock blew out after less than two years. So, I bought Rancho shocks. Holy crap. It returned it to almost stock feel and they were much better quality.Rough Country customer support sucks, too. I emailed them asking why their bushings kept wearing out and how to fix it. They never responded. Not even an auto email that they received my inquiry,Don’t buy this. Spend the extra cash. I seriously wonder if this kit is even safe.

Good lift kit, junk shocks.
I liked how everything bolted on the way it was supposed to. I didn't like getting the kit only to find the box was torn in one corner and one of the rear shocks was missing. Also missing was the hardware that you attach your break lines. I put the front lift on and that is when I found the next problem. One of my front shocks would not extend. I installed the shock only because I already had the upper control arm on and it. I notified Rough Country and they sent me two rear shocks and two front shocks. I installed the rear shocks and they seem to be fine. The front shocks were both bad, I put the best one on and if I hit any bumps it acts as if there is no shock on thg he truck. Very dissatisfied with the shocks. I will purchase my own shocks for the front so it rides better and doesn't sound and feel like the left front tire is coming off the truck. I noticed the shocks are made in China, if I had known that I would not have purchased this kit. Cheaper is not better. One other thing, a 75 lb box of metal should be packaged a little better so the box doesn't tear.

Looks Great! Verrrrry tight suspension
My mechanic said everything went in smoothly, with no complications. I have a Regular Cab 2002 GMC Sierra 2500HD w/ 8.1L V8. Looks Great! Verrrrry tight suspension. Big difference in center of gravity, while turning too. This is what a truck should drive like! I highly recommend this product. Also, purchased the Rough Country Steering Stabilizer, which also installed complication free.

Easy install. Shocks will break your teeth.
The kit was easy to install overall. Good instructions. Nothing too complicated. I like the lift. I had the shocks on for about 2 weeks before I just could not handle it any longer. The ride was so stiff and I could feel every single bump in the road. A thought my teeth were going to come out of my head it was so bad. This must be the 'Rough" in Rough Country. I bought some Bilstien 5100's and holy cow what a difference. Not cheap, but well worth it. I wish (may it does?) kit came without the shock option. I have a set for sale if you're interested.....
