Q: About how ling does the cord stretch?

Not long. Maybe 6 feet but that's really pulling on it. Mine is brand new so I'm sure after awhile the cord will stretch out some more on its own

Q: why does it weight 3.2 lbs. do you make a Led 12volt spotlight that has no battery and is light enough to hold while running down river?
