Great water bottle!!
This is my favorite water bottle. Seals up tight and doesn’t leak when tipped over. Super easy to use, just flip up the straw and draw out your beverage. I loose these quite often and this is my 5th one over the last 2 years. I’ve tried to use different ones, but this one works the best and fits perfectly in the cup holder in my car. I’m sure I’ll buy it again as soon as I misplace it.

Almost perfect, but unnecessary maintenance
I like CamelBak. It’s a reliable brand. I’ve never had trouble with their products leaking. Their bottles are easy to clean. But I really dislike having to continuels buy the bite valves. It’s an extra expense that I really don’t need. Aside from washing, it’s rather ridiculous that I need to maintain a water bottle.

Perfect Size and straw feature makes for easy drinking
Got this for my son to use for soccer practices and games and other various sports activities that he participates in after trying many other types and sizes. He loves the color and the straw feature. It is the perfect size to fit in the car cup holder and his backpack mesh bottle holder without falling out and also holds enough water that he doesn’t run out. Plus no leak issues if he does throw it in his main backpack with the rest of his gear. Overall great water bottle design!

Hail Hydrate! (I mean CamelBak)
I'm bad about not drinking enough water, and now that I have health issues that require me to drink water because of my meds and to help reduce the goop in my lungs, I have started religiously using my water bottles. I've been using CamelBak bottles for several years. I had two .75L ones that I had stuck up on a shelf and stopped using because of the lids cracking at the spout, but because when I bought them they were like $20 each I couldn't make myself toss them. I have a 1L that I've been using for a while and finally had a d'oh! thought to order new spouts for it...just to realize the new Eddy+ lids FIT MY OLD BOTTLES! (I don't know why I never thought to check my newer bottle's lid against those bottles.) So not only did I snag this one on sale for a steal this week at $10, I picked up extra bite valves and also new Eddy+ lids for my old .75L bottles. AND a set of aftermarket chug lids. So now I can mix electrolytes into the smaller ones and stick them in the fridge to drink when I need them with the chug valves, or I can use them as water bottles, and I feel like an idiot for not looking for replacement lids before now. I also love that it's easy to find water bottle carriers for both sizes. I like these because even the 1L bottles fit in my car's drink holder without issue. I don't usually need long-time insulation on them, but I can use an insulated sleeve/carrier when I do. These things take a beating, too.

Why is this thing so satisfying to drink from? Sensory input!
I love CamelBak, but I especially love this one. The reason why might surprise you—it’s because of the sensory input it provides by requiring you to bite the nozzle and suck through the straw. Surprised? Let me explain. In the world of special needs (autism, ADHD, generalized anxiety, etc.), sensory management is super important for regulation. But truth be told, it’s not just for those categories—it’s important for all of us. Typically, when managing sensory input, we talk about three types of sensory regulation: -Vestibular (balance & movement) -Proprioception (body awareness & joint impact) -Deep pressure (calming compression, like weighted blankets) These sensory inputs affect brain chemistry, influencing mood regulation by impacting serotonin, dopamine, epinephrine, oxytocin, and other neurotransmitters. In this case, let’s focus on proprioception input, which involves joint impact—things like going up and down stairs, jump roping, running, climbing, and any movement that creates impact on the joints. This kind of input helps release serotonin (and others) , which has a regulating and calming effect. There’s good reason people feel better after exercise! Now, here’s where it gets interesting: One of the most effective joints for proprioceptive input is … the jaw.! That’s the joint you get the most bang for the buck . That’s why people chew on pencils, gum, shirts, or even overeat—it’s a quick way to stimulate serotonin release. So why do I love this bottle so much? Because you have to bite down on the mouthpiece to get water out. That jaw engagement provides subtle proprioceptive input, which is calming and regulating—especially for sensory-seeking or anxious individuals. But there’s more benefit to the way, this bottle is designed: the sucking action itself also helps activate the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting relaxation and reducing stress—making it doubly beneficial for those who need both self-regulation and sensory input. All of that, added to the fact that this is completely spilled proof, makes these bottles the perfect thing to give a sensory seeking child or an anxious child. Also to any individual that has difficulty paying attention from things like ADHD. And I’m not too ashamed to say as an adult thats me Lol! I also like this newer design over the older eddy bottles. It has a nice curvature to the top area and, I don’t know…Just seems so much more sleek. Super easy to wash too. I just tear it all apart and throw in the top shelf of the dishwasher.

My daughter had this on her Christmas list. She's a very discriminating shopper so thought I'd give it a try when it was on special offer. Not disappointed in any way - just the right size, lightweight, easy to carry and totally leak proof. Particularly like the spout and the fact it can be opened easily with your mouth. Even if knocked over when open it doesn't leak! About as environmentally-friendly as anything made of plastic can be as well.

I love Camelbak water bottles. I got one when I was pregnant for my oldest daughter and brought it to the hospital with me when I gave birth. Had it handy when I was up late feeding or changing diapers. I bought this one hoping it would be the same or similar. It is (doesn't leak, lightweight), other than the spout. It is way too hard, should be softer
