YOU NEED CLEAN WATER Love these. Great to have on hand at any time. Approved by the WHO organization for safety. I've done a lot of camping in the past and wish I had had these back then. We are getting 10 to 14in of snow this weekend and having these on hand has given me piece of mind. I dont know if it helps but if I feel I ate something bad or maybe a cold starting these seam to help take the edge of especially if you get food poisoning. Great price, practical, perfect for travel, survival preparedness, snowstorm, power outages, camping, 1 small tablet in a bottled water shake wait drink. Low odor. Smells like chlorine. Worked as stated. It helped clean up the water in the water rower!

I used these to treat all of my drinking water on a recent backpacking trip. I found them to be very simple to use, extremely lightweight, effective, and to have very little chlorine taste (I’ve had worse tap water!). I find some of the reviews complaining about the taste to be questionable, or maybe they used the wrong dosage, or are individuals who are extremely sensitive to the taste of chlorine. I also like that this product protects your water from recontamination for up to 24hrs in a closed container. Price per treatment is also very good and this product is made in the EU (Ireland). It can’t kill cryptosporidium on its own, so I use a two step system of filter (platypus QuickDraw), then treatment with aquatabs. Peace of mind knowing that my water is safe to drink. Update (1 Year of field use) I’ve been using Aquatabs on every backcountry trip this past year, including treating water for groups. Depending on the water source, I’ve even forgone pre-filtering. I (and my fellow hikers) haven’t experienced any waterborne illness and no one has complained about chlorine taste. I’ve even converted my companions away from chlorine dioxide tablets and iodine. Aquatabs are so convenient to use and inexpensive, they’re always in my pack.

It arrived aa expected. I used it once since and am pleased with the experience. I did not independently test the water pre vs post treatment for bacteria. (I do not own that kind of equipment.) But the water tasted fine and no unpleasant effects.

Seguramente es buen producto. Pero pedí la versión para 1 litro y llegó versión para 20 l. No lo puedo usar.

Aún no me veo en una situación en las que tenga que probarlas, pero al menos el empaque me dejó satisfecho pues están individualmente bien empacadas, así que espero no ir a tener problemas con ellas en una emergencia.

El producto llegó a tiempo y fue tal cual como lo solicitamos. Buscarlo directo en tiendas es difícil por lo que la compra por Amazon fue una excelente idea.

Son una buena opción para emergencias. Por su tamaño son muy prácticas y prácticamente no ocupan espacio, ideales para llevar en una mochila. Tienen fecha de caducidad prolongada y en mi caso llegaron en su empaque original y caja cerrada, lo cual da confianza. Son una solución sencilla cuando no se tiene acceso a agua potable. El sabor del agua puede cambiar ligeramente, como es normal en este tipo de tratamiento, pero cumplen su función. No sustituyen un sistema de filtración más completo si el agua está muy sucia, pero como método de desinfección funcionan bien. Son un buen complemento para un kit de purificación de agua en una mochila de emergencia.
