Great gift!!
I bought this for my great grandson for his 5th birthday. He loved it!! We had lots of fun making the gears and designs together.

This thing is awesome!
Was a Christmas present to my 5 year old son. Since opening is presents this is the only thing that he has played with and he got a ton of presents I'm seriously telling you. He loves this thing and you know what even as an adult you get into it it's fun. Creating different things different levels you can have the chain you don't have to have a chain he loves it and he spent lots of hours on it already! Super easy to use. If you have super small kids some of these pieces are chokable. Thankfully my son is bigger than that and I only have one.

Give these as gifts and watch your little one's imagination grow. Great fun but also creates an environment to learn logic and analysis skills. More than just turning gears, can build standalone toys such as cars, trains, etc. Whatever they can imagine.

Excellent Product
This was a wonderful gift! It was opened with excitement and wonder. My grandchild spent hours creating various objects!! I watched as her progress grew into more complicated creations. This was well worth the price, and it’s sturdy enough to last for generations.

Gears not compatible with motorized robot set.
I was hoping that the gears in this set would be compatible with the two motorized robot sets my grandson already has.Sadly they are not. He enjoys building as big a robot as he can with the gears he already has and hoped this would allow him to create even larger project. He is happy with this set though, just has to build other things with it (i.e. not robots).
