Have not tried these in a refrig. They might work, but low watt regular bulbs seem to last a long time in a refrigerator.

Q: What is the length/height of this bulb?

The length not including the screw in part is a little over 3 1/4". The bulbs I received look to be about the same size as old fashioned incandescent bulbs.
