Buy this over whatever else you are thinking about getting.
Review from an avid Hunter/Prepper/Outdoor EnthusiastI want to preface by saying I wear out a lot of gear and I am not brand loyal by any means. However when building a rucking bag for search and rescue training, I really really wanted to spend a lot more money on a name brand bag that has all the bells and whistles and suspension etc. But the price point here was impossible to refuse.A few things:1. No compartmentalization at all really. You have the top pocket (Also where the rainfly is stored) and the main compartment. Thats it. Nothing else. The benefit is that the front zipper opens to allow you access to the whole compartment. So you dont have to top load and unload. Great. Also it has a rainfly if you didnt get that.2. Molle straps. Yes. Just yes. All my other gear connects to molle straps so glad its there.3. Padded well. You are not a navy seal. you are not an army ranger. You dont need a $500 bag. This is breathable and padded well.4. Water bladder compartment is in the main compartment.5. The bag material is just as good of quality as any other name brand. It works. I would not hesitate to take this through the woods on a rescue call or hunt.. Limbs branches sticks wouldnt penetrate it. Its sturdy.6. Large enough to do whatever you need it to do. You don't need anything larger.7. Lightweight enough. Its not microweight, its not even light weight. But its not heavy. If you are planning on rucking this bag around just know unless you spend $500 on a microweight bag its going to weigh a little bit.Just buy the bag. Its a good piece of gear.

1 year use
Durable, well made, and holds everything i need and more for a hike, backpacking, bushcraft, or camping. Holds all my bushcraft gear comfortably and the versatility of the Molle and straps make all my gear easy to access. Not the lightest bag but its comfortable and feels good to wear, love the look of the tan bag.

well made overall great price point
Have another bag I use daily with about 18 pounds of gear in it from this manufacturer its solid and this bag is as well. Material feels lightweight but is wearing well and the stitching is solid. Great price point for a nice pack. I am 5'4" and about 158 pounds with a 30 inch waist, the bag fits great to me.

Better than average
For the price, this bag exceeded my expectations. I think it’s unreasonable to expect a pack to take serious abuse when made of 100% polyester and plastic buckles. However, I was pleased with the purchase and I expect a life out of this backpack which will be consistent with what I paid for it. The color matched perfectly as advertised, and the adjustability of four different load points makes it stand out to me. The rain cover, while effective, seems redundant to me. It has a cinched top opening with rain cover, and then a zipper front opening. There’s really no reason for the top opening in my opinion, and therefore the rain cover only protects a feature which is unnecessary in the first place. I would have preferred a more substantial front opening zipper that was water resistant, and no top opening.Overall, when considering price, it’s a pretty good backpack. I wouldn’t plan to use it for rugged activity over a long period of time, but it’s a great camping bag or big-out bag.

, zero complaints of any kind!
I just traveled for 5 days off this one backpack and it held everything I needed. I put all my smaller things into soft packing cubes, and put the cubes in the backpack The zippers are perfect, the shoulder straps are strong but very soft, i had Molley pouches hanging off the waist straps to hold things I needed very frequently.I would buy another one of these backpacks in a heartbeat if this one ever got lost or stolen, no regrets! I love it and would recommend it immediately.Since the main compartment is a huge sack, i strongly recommend buying soft packing cubes to keep all your different types of clothing sorted, rolled up, and separate.

Great Quality and Durability for the Price
This is my second Mardingtop purchase, I also own the 75L backpack which is also great. Love all of the features and MOLLE attachment points to add more gear and packs to the outside for expansion,

My first Bug Out Bag
I'm new to the whole survivalist thing but I must say I really love the size and quality of this bag. I'm a bit worried of the clips but they haven't broken yet.
