Brilliant. Highly recommend.Stays so sharp that I can cut bread rolls in half cleanly! Other knives I have used, tear bread rolls and flatten them whilst trying to cut.Carves meat to perfection, and stays sharp due to the self sharpening inside the knife holder. The complete item takes up very little spaceon the work surface, or in a draw. The knife remains safe when not in use in the self sharpening holder.

Already had one of these and ordered some duplicates as they’re my favourite knives. very durable, the sharpening case is easy to use, and they’re so sharp straight out of the box. i run then through the box 10 times maybe once a month and they stay so sharp. they’ve a nice weight to them and it bout being too light or too heavy.

Knife had good reviews on Which? magazine so I bought it. Very sharp and the holder does a good job storing it and keeping it sharp. Good for the money. There is a top notch in the blade near the handle which takes some getting used to if you normally use a chef's knife with a straight back. Plan to take it travelling with me so I can cook in rented accommodation/Air BnB etc. Like it.

Bought this knife for my elderly mother. After being used to prepare veg for just over a year (and being hand washed after use), the poor quality steel used meant it developed a notched sharpened edge. After a week of answering ridiculous questions from the Tefal ‘support people’ they refused to replace it. They claimed it wasn’t defective but couldn’t offer any explanation as to why it had happened. Would never use Tefal products again based on this debacle.
