Fits like oem refills
our company uses these to replace our lifejackets when they fall off the docks... it happens quite often.. these refill the deploy mechanisms at a fraction of a cost and work the same. have gone through 15-20 of these so far and they were all flawless. good budget option

Excellent OEM replacements
The products work great! My Wife tested her vest by falling out of her Kayak. Inflated within a couple of seconds after hitting the water! The price seems to be pro-rated based the manufacturers dates on the bobbins. Not sure why the disparity from manufacture to sale dates are so long, perhaps people don't buy enough of them to move the stock. As long as the bobbins are kept dry, they will likely exceed the expiration date, but you then run into random discharges when the bobbins fail due to moisture if they are continuously armed..Overall, I am happy with the light weight vest, and they do work instantly when they hit the water!

Price is comparable to other sites
Why did you pick this product vs others?:My advice is watch a video on how to arm. The directions can be a little confusing

I'm Betting It Works Really Well At Auto-Inflating My PFD When/If I Need It.
I meant to buy 2 but only ordered one so maybe I should leave a bad review. It works great but it seems like a lot of people give a 1-Star rating for their own stupidity. Like the "half-empty" review - "I just got it and haven't used it yet so I'm giving it 1-Star because I don't know that it works". Well, the only way to know for sure that this works is to use it. But if I do use it, I need to buy another one that I won't be sure works until I try it. (Oh what a wicked web.) So, if I'm in a boating mis-hap and use this and it works to inflate my PFD, I'll let you know if it worked. If you don't read any updates to this review, than one of two things occurred... either I never needed it or it didn't work. I'll tell you what, so as not to keep you wondering forever, I'll put it in my will that when I die I'll add the cause of death to this review. So opt-in for updates to this review so you'll know whether to buy one of these or not... But when you do, you won't know for sure it works unless you try it... (Crap) BTW, I'm 56 years into my life. You probably won't have too long of a wait, in the grand scheme of things.06/10/15 - For those following along at home...Still alive. I have used the vest but as of yet have had no major mishaps that would have required me to deploy it. There was this one time when a ski boat was coming in our direction and I was a little afraid of being hit but also a little excited to try the CO2 cartridge. Pro's: The boat did not hit us, it turned well before there was any danger. Con's: You're gonna have to keep waiting for a definitive answer. Sorry...08/25/2015 - Went on a week-long remote canoeing and camping trip last week. It was windy and rainy and we had a couple storms and I had my vest on the entire way... but again, we didn't capsize, no "perfect storm-like" wave flipped us. Nothing happened that would require my vest to inflate to save my life (like Chris' brush with mortality in the comments section below). Teh only thing I have to report, and I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but as drenched as we were by the rain, the vest never armed. So it is either designed perfectly to distinguish between drowning, and just a downpour.. Or it doesn't work at all and I totally missed a HUGE red-flag warning sign.. Oh-well. I'm leaving the review at 5-stars, assuming all is well and I'll finish out the non-ice fishing season feeling safe and secure. But don't worry, no matter what happens with me and my vest, you'll have an update by the time the water freezes and the boat is put away.

Store away from heat sources.
A must have on the boat in case vest gets deployed.
