Q: Do these medals work with the us version of the nintendo ds game?

The medals are region locked. In Japan, the medal track is in the middle, but on the US versions, they're on the left. This prevents the Japanese buyers to get a bunch of American medals for dirt cheap. Also, I tried to scan a Japanese medals into the game, but it wouldn't read it.

Q: Does this have a English switch because this is the Japanese import

This watch has no English features. It was made for Japanese consumers.

Q: is this is this English version

It isn't but, I'm not sure there is an English version. It doesn't connect to the game to the best of my knowledge after trying to scan the QR codes on the coins. It may just be something to look at.
