This product was recommended to be by my Japanese friends. I knew they had more knowledge than I when it came to choosing Miso paste. They were right. I have bought these tubs of white miso several times. A couple of years ago, when I first started ordering, they came slightly damaged and were a bit darker. That has not been the case at all for a couple of years. They are fresh and well packaged. I would recommend.

Received red miso instead of white but it was still delicious.

Cold weather brings on Soup Time... I wanted to learn asain cooking, great Valuefor 2 of them.

this arrived with one of the packages open, seal broken, and Miso spilling out and discolored. No returns or recourse just eat the cost. Very unhappy, buyer beware.
