Works great.
Received this very quickly, and did some minor testing, had issues at first, but it was with my setup and not hte sensor.I have since set it properly, and works like a charm. I would recommend not using the included voltage reg, and instead use a voltage divider setup with a pair of 10k, and 15k resistors. Check out Tom's review on youtube, search auto bed leveling on youtube, or instructables to see how to set up resistors.

The sensor can't power the voltage regulator.
This sensor with the LM7805 does not work reliably. Sometimes your A-net V1.0 board will not detect the switch "closing", and your nozzle will be driven into your heatbed. Sometimes it doesn't "open", which causes Skynet to get a false positive when it makes it's second probe, and you get spaghetti printed in the air. This bogus combo is supposed to use the 12V output from the sensor to power a 5V V-reg. Unfortunately, the output of the sensor goes through a 10K Ohm resistor, which provides nowhere near enough current to the regulator input. Also, the regulator is not designed to pull the output down to ground when "off". You will never get 5V or 0V reliably from this setup.

Not always accurate
Bought this for an Anet A8. Took a bit of work to figure out the wiring, and needed to flip a bit in the firmware but got it working. The major problem is that it doesn't seem to be consistent on it's measurements. When the unit auto levels it seems to randomly not detect the bed which results in the hotend taking a nose dive into my PEI sheet. Basically means I have to watch the printer like a hawk every time I bed level.I am looking to replace this, and would not recommend getting it.

Falsely advertised!
Falsely advertised! What I ordered was not what I received. I received LJ12A3-4-Z/BY while I thought I was ordering LJ2A3-4-Z/BX. The LJ12A3-4-Z/BY is PNP NO and LJ12A3-4-Z/BX is NPN NO, they are completely different.Luckily I was still able to get it to work with my anet a8, skynet3d and the voltage regulator that came with it.Also get the 8mm not the 4mm. I ignored all the suggestions about this and I still bought the 4mm anyway. You will have more room to work with and less likely to have any collisions with the sensor.

A MUST HAVE for 3-D printer!!!
This was a great investment, I made a small board to make things ultra simple to hook up. I hooked up the pos and neg directly to power supply and signal wire do the z-min, was the blue wire and set the Marlin up and works flawless. I would defiantly recommend this to anyone who wants a simple solution to bed leveling/traming.

Great Probe
This works great with my heated aluminum bed. I haven't had any repeatability problems. Very stable.

Great item
Works but if you use glass on the bed I recommend the 8mm range

DEFECTIVE! have it powered with 12v on the blue/brown ...
DEFECTIVE! have it powered with 12v on the blue/brown -/+. i put a metal object in front of it, LED lights up. However under no circumstance do I get ANY voltage or mA's coming off the black output wire or at the regulator. I DEMAND A REFUND!!!!!!!!!
