Best Multi Device Headset
Summary: This headset allows me to connect to my work laptop, my personal desktop, and my audio interface at the same time with audio coming through simultaneously from all sound sources with no need to swap anything. Also upgrading it with some WC replacement ear cups and headband wrap to resist pleather wear and increase comfort, and add some personalization, is worth it 200%The long version:I work hybrid, so some days at home, some in office. When I am work from home, I work on a laptop that connects to my personal monitors. My personal desktop also goes into my monitors, so I can switch between sources if I have both going at the same time.My original headset, Corsair RGB Void Pro had a little dongle that broke because I had to constantly move the dongle back and forth between my PC and my laptop if I wanted to use either or. I did get a replacement dongle, but I needed a better solution because this could happen again and eventually Void Pro dongles will be harder to come by.I eventually discovered the Corsair Virtuoso RGB XT. It's wireless, it has its own dongle (which can handle up to 4 wireless devices), it also has bluetooth, and it can become wired through USB or 3.5mm jack. The bluetooth was what I was here for, but I got so much more. After getting the headphones, I was able to clear my PC case front USB ports (the Void Pro dongle, a micro usb, and another usb c cable which has built in velcro to bundle and set aside. My mouse wireless dongle is still there but might be possible to remove too). The game changing feature which I did not expect was that the dongle audio, the bluetooth audio, and the 3.5mm audio could all be played at the same time. I don't have to worry about flipping between sources or checking to see which one of the three is active, none of that. I can be on my personal computer, I can be on my work computer, and I can (if I wanted to) be connected to my audio interface recording guitar, ALL AT THE SAME TIME. That avoids any concerns about anything wearing down and breaking, I can keep the Virtuoso dongle safe behind the computer, and I have the option of being wired or wireless. I can have all the cakes and eat them all too. It. Is. Glorious. So if you love having flexible, streamlined, and cleaned up work spaces, ESPECIALLY if the work spaces are separate stations but occupy the same space (like my work laptop, my personal desktop, and my audio interface do), this is the clearcut winner. The headphones themselves, so many people talk about the specs and performance, and Dolby Atmos. Just go look up a few Tech Youtubers' video reviews on them. They are all say these headphones are pretty good. The mic is apparently a miracle and the best in this category, so that's pretty nice (AND IT IS REPLACEABLE, AND REMOVABLE TOO. WHAT EVEN). Can't speak to battery life since mine are new.Oh yeah, final note. Do replace the stock ear cups. Get the ones from a brand called WC because they are deeper, bigger, made of fabric and not pleather like the stock ones, and they have greater comfort supposedly (I haven't used the stock ones. I immediately used the replacement ones out of the box). I also got a band to go around the top of the headset from WC to protect the pleather on the top from wearing and flaking off. I'd recommend you do the same. There are also patterns you can choose from to give your headset some personality.Overall, big win in all directions, these headphones. I would strongly recommend getting those WC ear cups and band set. Worthy upgrade to an already amazing headset

One of the best open back headsets/headphones!
Pros:Excellent build qualityExtremely comfortablePhenomenal soundstage, punchy and tight, accurateBroadcast quality microphoneCan be used with or without micEase of useCons:Braided cables allow movement and abrasive noise to pass through into sound and micMic Mute toggle is not easy to get toOn the heavier side for open back headsetsTop padding could have a bit more paddingPrice is not attractiveNeeded an(other) open back design headphone for gaming/work. Decided on the Virtuoso Pro because supposedly these were one of the best reviewed open back headset next and similarly compared to the pc38x (which I had). Virtuoso Pros are extremely comfortable, build quality is excellent, and its soundstage is phenomenal. The mic quality is great, they like to say “broadcast quality”, but I will say that heavy breathers and plosives emphasizers, beware because mic is sensitive, but it’s a good thing for sound quality. Speaking of mic sound quality, the braided design of the wires allow more sounds to be picked up, and I thought these sounds from my wires rubbing against my shirt or me touching it with my arm or controller were just passing through into the headphones, but it also passed through the mic and you could wear the annoyances in microphone playback recordings. It doesn’t bother me too much because I have the Virtuoso Pro plugged into my waveXLR which in turn allows me to use my Rode Mic as a dedicated microphone. And VSTs allow me to set thresholds so that sound pickup is limited. I love and need open back designed headsets/headphones. Yes, they allow external noise to leak in and out, but with two young toddlers in the house, I am not afforded the luxury to “block out noise” so it’s good that I can still hear them cry or yell if they need something. I just wished that they were priced significantly lower. $200 is knocking at audiophile territory, but $150, which they are currently at as of writing this review is much more attractive. $100-150 is the sweet spot, only because that’s where the pc38x usually sits at and these two are relatively speaking the best open back gaming headsets.
