Love this book

This is a great book. Really enjoyed it. A good story for teenagers to enjoy the wild West.

Expected more

Unlike the many western stories, true grit inspite of its top billing failed to satisfy the "western" fan in me. Although, wasn't expecting all out gun fights and saloonesque atmosphere, but expected something far more substantial and meaty from the characters. The preachy tone of the leading lady, wasn't that funny after sometime and sounded presumptuous.
