Best jacket of my life, Scroll down for Cons.
Pros.Fits as advertised in size charts, and so far it's kept me dry though I've not been in heavy or extream weather conditions, I have been in light rain with medium wind as well as medium rain with little to no wind and so far it has not let the water in (no added water proofing was done by me its just straight out of the box) now I will say that if you want this to be your main wet weather jacket like my self I would suggest getting something to layer under it for warmth as this is not insulated so during freezing temp you too will be freezing. to circle back to sizing I'm 5,11 and 145lbs not fit just a regular build and got the extra small, my chest is 34 inches and my hips are a 30 and this jacket is by far the best fitting jacket I've had in my adult life with just enough room to get a basic sweater or zip up under for extra warmth on the days/nights that drop in temp (can be seen in pics over a basic sweater in one as well as over both the sweater and waiters in another)Cons.my only hang up is the cuffs being a neoprene (wetsuit like material) that is tight on the wrists (I have nerve damage on the top of my thumb and it can be difficult getting the cuff over without it hurting) it can also be a little difficult if you wear a watch. I'm also just not a fan of the main two pockets design there like cargo pockets but them being straight vertical designs they are not convenient for your hands as well as the tops only have a flap and doesn't actually have anything to secure the pockets closed so I don't want to trust them with anything that needs to stay dry

A true 100% waterproof rain jacket!
Really appreciate the fact that the water rolls off this rain jacket making it 100% waterproof. This certainly has not been the case with numerous other rain jackets (including Gore-Tex) that I’ve owned. So for what it’s designed to do it most certainly does the job, no question about that. I also appreciate the neoprene wrist cuffs and hood features. Great additions over my old Helly Hanson rain jacket. Buyer beware, however. First, if you’re looking for a rain jacket that’s lightweight or easily packable you’re better off looking elsewhere. Second, at 5’10”, 215 lbs., and with a 46” chest I went with an XL. The fit is a bit “tighter” than I expected. My advice is if your measurements are borderline on the sizing chart like mine were, go up one size, especially if you plan on adding a layer or two during colder weather. All in all a great purchase for me.

Great service from Bigweatherwear. Ordered 2XL!!! RUNS SMALL!!!
I’m 6’2”, with 36/38 waist, 46 long jacket, with 35” arms, and 44” gut. 2XL fit perfectly, without looking like a tent. Sleeves would suit from 32 to 37, but 37 would probably ride up the arm on stretching. Nice under the exterior cuff (picture 2) concealed, built in 3” elastic sleeve, that keeps the length of the sleeve from slipping over your hand, for the shorter armed. Not the cheap rubber band inside the seam, or a couple of snaps.Material is a rubbery 100% non breathable 100% waterproof, downpour for hours, protection, with a reinforced (heat bonded adhered nylon like cloth, picture 2) backing. This gear will not breath, but is perfect for mid level activity in downpours, such as fishing, tailgating, walking from A to B when you know it’s going to pour.

Well loved jacket
Bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas, all of his buddies have it and they LOVE IT. Keeps the boys 100% dry and warm. Super lightweight and comfortable.. example of activities they use it for: fishing, off roading, working..

Nicely made.
I haven’t used it yet but it fit well and seems to be well made. I wanted to try a rain coat that allows the water to run off without allowing it to soak in the fabric. The material feels like it will do just that.

The Jacket is 100% waterproof but that inner sleeve WILL get wet...
The jacket holds up, and is 100% waterproof but that inner sleeve that they mention, will get wet if you do anything active. Wish it wasn't there and they just maybe extended the sleeve or maybe a drawstring would've been better. I ride a motorcycle and after HEAVY rain my body was dry, but my wrist was soaking wet, so to me I can't use it to ride anymore. The wrist got wet so it left me feeling cold in the end. It's so close to being the perfect riding rain jacket. I still kept it but only wear it when I am in pedestrian mode. Trying to find something similar that doesn't have that inner sleeve.

Quality at a great price
I have messed around with cheaper "rain jackets" in the past and have found them all to be lacking in quality, fit, and indeed waterproofing. My initial impressions of this rain jacket are very positive. Simple yet very effective features and a good fit The whole outer layer is a thick rubbery material that keeps the water out. It does not have any thermal lining which is something I actually wanted since where I am the rain can come in the warm seasons but has room for layers underneath should the weather turn cold. The hood stows away into the collar which fastens closed with snaps. Front closure is a quality zipper covered by twin storm flaps fastened by snaps. One very nice feature is the neoprene cuffs. I hate the open sleeves of traditional rain slicker style jackets but these fasten tight around the wrist to keep water out and keep your sleeves from falling over your hands.Over all I'm impressed. I bought this on sale and for that price it was definitely worth the money.
