Amazing cost to performance...
I had been experiencing issues with previous keyboards. It was a combination of key height being a bit high, along with inaccuracies when I was typing. Of course, many of the culprits were membrane keyboards. Naturally I was looking at mechanical keyboards by Corsair and others along with Razer. I fell in love with the Razer Mamba mouse and knew their products were top tier. I realized that for the $60 price point, Razer packs one heck of a punch. After watching numerous video reviews online, most of who were actually bashing the whole membrane/tactile combination, for whatever reason I still had a hunch that Razer wouldn't just put a 'hybrid mechanical' product on the market without it being pretty well r&d'd and taken to the next level in comparison to 'other' attempts. At the risk of it being a waste and the 'hybrid mechanical' rumors being true and ending up needing to go into the tier of true mechanical keyboards, I gave this keyboard a shot. I can wholeheartedly say my hunch was dead on. In a word: Smooth. This thing types butter smooth and accurate. The clicks are actually pleasant to the ear, my words per minute got a boost and I'm more accurate as well. I could not be more happy. The RGB is ridiculously good looking in person, and while I wish there were a more firm surface for the wrist rest(read: a higher quality foam or a plastic, either one), it is quite comfortable and unlike some reviews claim, it does not get hot under my wrists at all. Don't pass on this keyboard, because for under $100, this thing slays the competition, even costing a bit more, IMO. By far my favorite 'thing' about this keyboard is how Razer seemed to perfectly balance making a membrane keyboard that is hyper accurate, while giving it the 'click' many of us like in high end mechanical keyboards while making that click even more pleasant than what we are used to, while getting the key height and travel distance, well, perfect. I don't think the combination of these features is any accident. They seem to shake hands with each other quite nicely to put it lightly . All in all, if you're wondering if you need to spend an exorbitant amount of money on a 'real' mechanical keyboard, I can honestly say, I don't think you do. Give the Ornata a shot and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Well rounded keyboard for gaming to school work.
I’ve had this product for nearing 6 months now. It’s held up through siblings and others roughhousing. It’s had it’s fair bit of use in these 6 months, (atleast 5 hours a day). I’ve experienced an increase in performance once I switched from my old $15 off brand keyboard to this keyboard. It truly is an amazing keyboard for everything from writing 5 essays a day to playing competitive games for hours and hours on end. My hands never start to hurt, and I believe it’s because of this wrist rest. The wrist rest is a tad thin, and hard but it has the feel of a soft leather. It doesn’t negatively affect me in any aspect. The keyboard is easily cleaned, and is pretty much plug & play. I received mine and was very very satisfied. The tactile keys are clicky, yet soft. But not too soft. They feel amazing, unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. They sound like mechanical keys. The lighting under the keyboard is ambient with the opaque plastic above the LED’s. It makes it 10x better looking, and it helps with cleaning. The custom cable channel under the keyboard is very helpful for tabletop wire management. Having 3 channels for the keyboards wire. The wire feels strong and durable, after having it for 6 months and having it in each different channel, there are no signs of wear. It’s kept very nicely. The Razor lighting program is also very easy to navigate and use. Easily change between thousands of colors to match any setup. Thousands of different reactions are available to change as well. Everything is easily customizable. Overall this product is a definite item that I would recommend to anyone that is questioning purchasing this product.

Great keyboard for affordable price!
I wanted to improve my gaming setup and I wanted a Razer product with RGB Chroma and this gem caught my eye. It in fact has RGB Chroma, and the lighting is exceptional and has a lot of customization featured Razer Synapse. Unfortunately, like most Razer products, this keyboard doesn't have a USB port on the side which is personally fine by me seeing as I don't need one; just could've been a useful feature to have. The keyboard is made out of a very quality plastic, and it's got a bit of weight to it so I don't see this thing breaking any time soon. Now onto the the actual keys of the keyboard. It uses "mecha-membrane technology" which sounds a bit weird at first seeing how it combines standard keyboards and mechanical one, but I'm LOVING it thus far. I've used actual mechanical keyboards previously and they're dandy and all, but I just really like typing and gaming with this keyboard. I notice my movement in game as fast as I can humanly react, and can press up to ten keys at once for whatever reason. The keyboard also features mid-height key caps, meaning your responses are registered faster due to them being lower down. Another neat feature that this keyboard includes is the ability to enable "gaming mode" and this basically disables the windows key at the bottom of your keyboard so you don't accidentally exit the game, also giving the option to disable ALT-F4 and ALT-TAB. Last but not least, it includes the magnetic arm rest for when you're typing an essay for example or even this review (haha), it's like a pillow for your arms.In total, great purchase and I don't hope to encounter any problems with this keyboard in the future.
