Nice item, however even with the tool, becomes disconnected at times

Loved these! Its an excellent starter set. I taught myself how to knit using these. The aluminum is a little slippery (as expected) but makes moving the stitches very easy. When the cables are tightened with the included tool, I had no issues with them coming unscrewed. This kit comes with everything needed to knit with circular needles!

Needed extra cables for Knit Picks needles and this set works perfect for them. I normally always use one of my two other sets with a lot of cable choices, but I just bought a shortie set by Knit Picks just to try a shortie needle for sleeves. But it needs more cables, s these less expensive sets don't come with a great selection. Lack of additional cables really limited what I could use them for, so I needed more cables to extend the usage. These fit perfectly and will work just fine. Works good for sleeves or small circular items...with these extra cords!And I DO love the colors! I hate those black cords, with a passion! They're just ugly and hard/difficult to see. These show well through the yarn and work just fine!HIGHLY RECOMMEND for Knit Picks, Knit Pro, and a few other needle brands (NOT Addi or ChiaGoo brands though).

The cables are actually knit pro even though it says knitters pride. Only issue is the lengths are not accurate AT ALL. I listed the measurements for anyone that would like that info. Just what I needed. Can’t have too many cords. This is a useful collection of various lengths, color-coded for each length (tho I’m pretty sure I won’t hold the color in my brain for each length). I’m keeping them rolled and into the small individual sturdy envelopes in which they arrived.

I got exactly what I wanted.
