Used to get these at the grocery store but nobody seems to have them anymore. These are much cleaner than the usual raw peanuts for wildlife and I prefer better quality for my parrots.

I am thoroughly impressed and totally satisfied with this product -- I will DEFINITELY purchase more! OK, I did find them kinda pricey, but I was so happy with the item that I will learn to live with that. This package arrived in a very timely manner, and I just could not wait to try out these raw peanuts. I immediately cracked one open and popped the tasty little morsels into my mouth. As I chewed and savored, The Past came rushing back to me!!! Yes, I did indeed buy them with the intention of eating them raw, which actually demands a superior peanut than is necessary for boiling them – and these did NOT disappoint! However, there is an FDA warning printed on the package reminding us that these peanuts "have not been processed" so they may carry/transmit food-borne illness. So, being no Spring Chook at age 66, I sadly and reluctantly shook myself and refraining from consuming them raw, decided to boil them. There is a pot on the stove at this very moment, having just completed my very first ever batch of home-boiled peanuts (I always just bought them from roadside stands in my younger Southern days)! Munching on them right now :) They are simply soooo AMAZINGLY YUMMY :) Now, I am a Dixie native (currently misplaced in that frigid, frozen wasteland known as Connecticut) and have eaten raw peanuts and hot boiled peanuts my entire life -- well, until moving here. And as I often have been over the past 23 years, was suddenly stricken earlier this week with the intense desire for raw peanuts (or even hot boiled). So being a loyal Prime member for about the past 20 years, it finally dawned on me that I should check for my heart's desire therein. DUH !!! The rest, as they say, is history. Of course, before purchasing I made use of Amazon's loyal customers and looked to y'all for honest opinions. Of all the raw peanuts available, this one seemed to have the highest percentage of positive ratings. I want to add that the package is very clearly marked with a "Best By" date of 03-09-24, so it's well within a very reasonable shelf life expectancy for this product. For those unhappy with the freshness – or even moldiness – of their orders, I would ask you all to remember that these little gems are HIGHLY perishablethere, and there is a VERY specific peanut harvest season – typically May until November – which can account for some quality issues when purchased too far beyond that window. I found that the price was a lot for the amount of $ paid .

These worked great in the instant pot. 2 hrs (pressure cooker on high) and done! They’re not as big as I’d hope but are good enough to satisfy my cravings. I didn’t follow the instructions to add 1 cup of salt, it really only needs about 1/2 cup or a little over.

These as always are so good but a little pricey! I use them to make boiled peanuts!

Great for roasting in the oven

Great for the squirrels, no issue with delivery. Received as expected.

The peanuts were OK, but I found out that I do not care for boiled peanuts. Bought them for an experiment.
