This workbook is an excellent guide to help heal. Listening to your body and giving it what it needs to be healthy (in physical, mental and emotional levels) are explained and exercises provided. Do the work - use this workbook - feel better!

The Somatic Therapy Workbook is exactly what I've been needing, a supportive way to get out of my head and into my body. I've been feeling really "talked out" in therapy lately, and while I still get a lot of benefit from that service, I've been wanting to more deliberately engage in somatic therapy practices. I also have been practicing yoga for a long time, but my somatic practice there has existed in a different bubble than my intentional emotional processing. I really appreciate the clarity around which the author explains somatic therapy (because I've only had a general idea in my head previously) and each of the explorative exercises. Having space in the book to engage in reflection makes this feel like I am co-authoring this experience, rather than reading a how-to book - which also then leaves me feeling that whatever my experience is, it's the perfect experience. I am really looking forward to spending some quality time with this book and my body!
