Absolutely love these. I have a fiddle fig leaf and anyone thats ever owned one know they can be extremely temperamental. This little device helps alot. Nice and long so it easily gets a reading from the bottom of my 13 inch planter as well as the top. Stab it in and boom instant fast results. Has helped tremendously with my plant health. Seems accurate and was very reasonable price.

This thing just works, no batteries which is such a relief nowadays. It's great to have an accurate reading of the soil a foot and a half down rather than just testing the surface with my finger. Now I can make my plants happy by giving them the right amount of water, not too much or too little. The gauge is easy to read and works quickly, seems to be built well given that it needs to be shoved into the dirt many times. I bring it back inside after I'm done using it so I'm not sure if it would last as well being outside constantly.

This moisture meter is crazy good compared to the last one I had. It reads immediately and accurately. I bought the longer probe because I have many deeper patio pots. It seems to be quite sturdy so I’m hoping to use it for many years to come.

Easy to use and works well. Don't push hard on the plastic housing,it could crack. You have to guide the metal probe into the soil while holding on to the top of plastic housing. Satisfied with product it does what it says.

Love this! Works perfectly for me. My poor tomatoes were sitting in wet. Who knew? The "finger" test is just not accurate. This is a game changer for me and my watering practices. Over watering is just as bad as under watering. It works so fast, is easy to read and sturdy. A great value and I love that there is no battery needed. Simple & reliable.

Works great and this is an ESSENTIAL TOOL for all gardeners and plant 'caretakers'... I would recommend the LONGER PROBE... shorter probe might(?) be OK for shallow house plants/pots... but for outdoor plants and/or large pots, I would definitely recommend the longer probe. VERY EASY TO USE and is the only way to know soil moisture content accurately below soil surface... otherwise you're just 'guessing' if/when plant(s) need watering.

This is a great Moisture Meter and I agree with all the positive reviews left on this site. BUT the one thing that should be emphasized is that you need to follow the directions about NOT using it on very dry soil, rocky soil etc, which are very clearly detailed in the handy little KLUX Instructions booklet that come with it. Also you need to wipe it off from soil or dirt as the manufacturer recommends. If not, it will eventually stop working and read "DRY" when it is not! As a result you may find yourself (like I did) ordering a new one every few years because it has stopped working! Meanwhile, f you just gently use fine sandpaper on the tip to clean off the natural oxidation that occurs, it works like new!

I’ve been using this meter to monitor the moisture levels in my grow bags (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, herbs). It’s definitely helped me avoid overwatering — turns out, what looked dry on top was still moist deeper down. That alone is worth something.That said, the accuracy seems hit or miss. The longer I leave the meter in the soil, the reading slowly drops, which makes me question how consistent it really is. I’ve learned to do quick readings in different spots instead of relying on just one check.Pros:✅ No batteries needed✅ Easy to use✅ Gave me a better sense of what's going on under the surfaceCons:➖ Readings drift the longer it sits➖ Doesn’t feel super precise➖ Doesn’t give a moisture percentage, just a general rangeIf you're a casual gardener looking for basic guidance, this will do the trick.
