No more rusting.
Beautiful. Tomato red. Nice accent in a black, white, grey kitchen. Made well. No issues. Love that it’s lined. No rusting.

Does not whistle! Useless to me.
WHISTLE does not work. There is no way to get in touch/resovle with CUISINART that is reasonable to replacethis teapot. My experience has been, that when I purchase a new teapot, I will have it a very long time.It will always be visible on my stovetop. Therefore, it took me a VERY LONG TIME to choose this teapot. The whistle is important as a safety measure. This teapot is useless to me.

Decent tea pot that makes hot water.
I never realized how difficult it would be to shop for a tea kettle. After reading customer reviews about rust, I was apprehensive, but almost all kettles had the same complaint. I really didn't want to spend $30 on a plain looking kettle, but it seemed like that was the lowest it goes for enamel whistler, so I picked this one. It's been 9 months and I haven't seen any rust yet. We use this nightly, and reuse our leftover water (it's California, we're in a drought), and whoever thought of washing a pot that only boils water? That's crazy. It makes a good whistle that I can usually hear from another room. The water pours cleanly without any dribble. For those who complain about it sputtering water, it's because the water inside their pot is still boiling when they pour it. Any container with boiling water will do the same (just try it in a regular sauce pan.) Wait a few seconds and that problem goes away. My spout cap melted a bit because we didn't have it centered completely over burner at some point, but all in all I think this is a decent tea pot and I'm so glad it's not rusty. It's not anything special but it works.

NO Whistle!
This tea kettle does not whistle whatsoever! So if you put a pot of tea on and you forget about it, you will never know that it’s steaming unless you walk by it and look. No whistle whatsoever! At least mine doesn’t. Also, it is a very small tea pot and it has a fill line and so you can only get 3 cups of tea out of it.She is CUTE though, but I’m sending her back.

Cuisineart TeaPot - Contemporary Cutie!
I love the Cuisineart Tea Pot! I bought the cherry red and it is a beautiful color. The teapot is cute as a bug! I was concerned that some of the negative remarks so I read the use and care guide and realized that those who complained obviously did not read how to boil a pot of water in the Cuisineart teapot! The stationary handle is plenty tall to remove the lid to fill. The directions clearly indicate that you should not boil water on high but rather low to medium. This will prevent your pot from overheating. It does recommend that you wipe out your pot after each use. This will ensure the beautiful quality of your pot for years to come. This is a lovely teapot and I highly recommend.
