top of cap to bottom of vial is 2-1/4". Bottom of vial to top of usable portion of vial is 1-5/8". The threaded portion of the vial, which is under the lid is 3/8". The diameter of the vial is just over 6/8". Hope this helps.

I think they might be fine for wet or dry storage. The top of lid has a paper insert that seems to provide a good seal.

What this work for liquid makeup or eye makeup remover for travel?

I think these would work just fine for makeup. It won't hold much, but should hold enough for a week.

I want to mail some snow (obviously it will just be water) to my homesick friend in Texas, will these work for that? Will the hold the water in them?
