Very thin connectors!
These are the perfect size to plug into the connectors mounted right against the PC board of the display. I haven't found another connector that would work.Very happy to find these!

Easy to assemble when you know how, works well, very compact
I needed to be able to plug into a micro-USB connector with very limited space on one side. This cable is perfect for that. Assembly is a tiny bit fiddly, but not difficult. There are two things I would add to the rather basic drawings provided above. 1) the single most important comment for lining things up is "contact side toward the PCB. This is less obvious than it might be because the contacts are on opposite faces of the cable at opposite ends. No biggie, so long as you follow that primary instruction. 2) It's not clear from the diagram that the black locking tab on the connector folds up. I tried to pull it outwards at first, but thankfully didn't break it, and when I remembered that I've seen these connectors inside laptops and phones on a few adventurous forays inside such things, it was easy. Make sure you line the cable up, it should go a little way inside the connector and be snug. If it slops side to side, you don't have it properly inserted yet.

exactly what I needed
It's a bit tricky to get the cable attached but not a big deal. Once you figure out one side, the other side is easy. This solved a nagging problem I had with an built-in lightbox where there just wasn't enough room even for the smallest right-angle connector I could find.

Waste of money and even more so, TIME!
The tiny little black piece of plastic that you’re supposed to pull out in order to put the flat ribbon in broke off when I tried so carefully to do what the instructions said, which of course don’t come with the item they are on the Amazon website, which is totally pathetic but anyway Don’t waste your money or your time!

Not worth the money
Why couldn't the seller say "assembly required"?. I broke it trying to " put it together Now I'm out $8.00. Don't need a refund I'llJust be taking my business elsewhere. I thought I had bought a cable, ended up buying a "cable kit".

Broke Upon Assembly
While attempting to assemble the ends of the cable, one connector broke. Not a great idea to make the consumer assemble it, because it's fragile and difficult to put together.
