The magnet is super strong. Get near your metal and it will find it.

Good for nails and short people. No where near 50 pound magnetic strength. Maybe 5pounds if you are lucky. Needs a ball swivel where the magnet attaches. Also would really benefit from an extra 12-18 inches length on the handle.Final thought, I purchased this to recover a nut and retaining washer lost in the lawn . Would really have liked 5 of these magnets arranged as a bar for better coverage.

The media could not be loaded. This magnet works great and has given me peace of mind after a roof repair. got it to search around the house yard after having a metal roof installed, found all sorts of sharp metal objects that I had no idea were out there .. it's also perfect for picking up a box of spilled nails and such. it's little but it's pretty powerful, it can hold a lot. you have to hold it pretty close to the ground though to find stuff
