Chinese Checkers & Gobang (Five in a Row) 2 in 1 Traditional Strategy Board Game for Family and Party

I like the special combo games set for Chinese Checkers & Go Game (Weiqi).

The media could not be loaded. The colors are off: there are two blues instead of a blue and a black. The printing is off: the triangles should be moved further out, but that's the way it was designed. The pieces very easily come out; at least marbles are heavier. It's nice that there are two games in one box, but not having a way to store the pieces is not ideal. Also, there are only enough pieces to play- there are no extras. The English is off... which isn't horrible, but just another nail in the coffin. "2 and 1" is three. ;)

Kids love it!

The game board itself is very high, appealing. The plastic cover keeps the pegs in their little compartments. There are two things we all agree could be improved upon, and that would bbe. first of all, having another color besides a second blue. And the second one, which is rather major, is the pegs fall out of the holes very easily. I expected them to fit more snuggly, which is why I went with pegs instead of marbles. Otherwise, it’s a nice game.

We weren't pleased with the plastic lid to contain the pieces. Oversized and flimsy. Returned it.

Thanks for this great set, will be teaching my 7 year old grandson how to play my favorite childhood game. The only complaint I have is that one set of the pegs did not arrive with the set. How can I get a replacement?

Wow, the packaging was disappointing. It actually looked to a seriously negative reaction upon opening Christmas morning. Yes, the reaction to opening a to gift (on Christmas) is another issue entirely... However it wasn't unwarranted. Clearly no English-speaking editors were available in the design of the packaging.The other miss was an absence of instructions. Not the biggest deal given the common nature of the game, but still. Nothing?Game set itself is fine, basic in nature. We'll have to find another way to store it than the box, though, to avoid reminder of the incident. Oh, and to actually keep the pieces from getting lost, as that was not included either.

the small white gobang pieces kept breaking so easily. I missed the window to return, so we only play chinese checker's side. We love the Chinese checker side.
