Looks fine, a little wobbly
The instructions were clear and assembly was possible, but annoying, with one 125lb noodle-armed person. There are no spare parts or hardware, so make sure to not lose any screws and if you've got any leftover when you're done, you probably missed something. You'll need a drill for the final steps: the instructions simply show a screwdriver, but you have to screw the each of the 14 mattress support slats in three different places onto their support beams, which have no pre-drilled holes. That would take a heck of a lot of strength and patience to do by hand with a screwdriver. It does have quite a bit of a wobble to it, even with everything assembled correctly and all of the bolts carefully tightened. I have been told that's only to be expected when there are no cross beams. I got this bed for myself (the aforementioned 125lb adult person) and I feel safe enough in it; the wobbling is mostly an annoyance. I'll be enlisting the help of a handier family member to see if we can install some cross beams or secure this to the wall cheaply enough to justify buying the cheap bed in the first place. The slide was actually a feature I was looking for, not for my nearly-30-year-old self but as a ramp to allow my blind cat to still get up on my bed. A part of me was still hoping to get at least one good slide in to satisfy my inner child, but there's no way that thing is holding my weight. It's just a thin piece of board slid in between two beams with three cross supports—I'm even a little nervous about my 65lb dog trying to climb on it. It's also really steep, which makes for a frightening slide and unfortunately an unsuitable ramp for a cat (even with carpeting adhered on it for traction). To be honest, there aren't a lot of options for this specific height (which was exactly what I needed) in the price range between this and five-to-ten-times-the-cost-of-this. I might've paid a bit more for guaranteed stability if there were any reasonable options that weren't completely out of my price range. So I figure this one will do.
