Glory Greens Seasoned Southern Style Greens
If you're looking for the taste of home-cooked Southern greens without spending hours in the kitchen, Glory Greens are the real deal! I tried both the Seasoned Collard Greens and Seasoned Mustard Greens, and they were absolutely delicious—packed with flavor and perfectly tender. These greens are already cooked with just the right blend of seasoning, including onion, garlic, and a touch of vinegar. You don’t need to add anything unless you want to kick it up a notch with hot sauce or smoked meat—but honestly, they’re flavorful enough on their own. What I love most is the convenience. On busy nights, I can heat them up in a few minutes and serve them with cornbread, fried chicken, or even just rice for a complete, comforting meal. The ingredients are simple, and I appreciate that there’s no overpowering salt or preservatives like some canned vegetables. Perfect for anyone who loves traditional Southern food but doesn’t have the time to prepare greens from scratch. Highly recommend keeping a few cans in your pantry!

Best canned collard greens I've found
Every year as Summer winds down and Fall creeps in, I find myself craving collard greens....the kind my Grandma used to make, with the ham hock and bits of diced turnip. Up until my son became a vegan, I used to make at least a couple of big pots of them each season. But, as I am now the only one (other than my dogs) to eat it, I have resorted to buying canned collards. Now, I will admit that, although these are a far cry from my Grandma's collard greens (which seems to make my doctor happy, at least), they are very good. The dogs and I keep a supply on hand. And, the upside for me is that I can enjoy them more often than I was able to when I was forced to rely on the very limited availability of collard greens at the market. So, short story made excruciatingly long, I recommend this product.

Not a fan of canned veggies. However, after tasting Glory Greens, I became a believer. Large cans, and Great price. Sometimes you don't want to spend all day in the kitchen.:)

Halleluiah Old Glory
Glory is a great brand which was suggested in the Southern Living recipe for cornbread crostini. I had to order it online because it was not available in my local grocery store. As an hors d'oeuvre, you might want to top the crostini with pimiento cheese or a more substantial pulled pork or duck.

The ONLY Canned Collard Greens to Buy!
I'm crazy about Glory Southern-Style Greens - all of the varieties they sell. But The Collard Greens??? YUM! So good! Tastes like it was made at home. Tastes like it's been cooking for hours and hours. It's a bit of a struggle to find them in California, so thank goodness for online shopping! :)
