Works, easy to set, doesn't seem very strong
I needed these locks for our sheds around the house. I couldn't tell you how many times I've walked out to the shed only to realize I'd forgotten the key... lol Combination locks with the ability to set one code are the answer!Quick and easy to set the code you want, easy to open the locks. Great! To close the lock, you have to have each dial set for your code, close the lock, then roll the dials to something other than the code to lock it. The lock doesn't "spring" open or snap shut like most typical padlocks.If I'm being totally honest, the lock doesn't feel extremely high quality, or like it would be all that difficult to break into. That being said, I don't think any "normal" lock is going to stop someone on a mission, but this is perfectly adequate to stop a petty crook looking for a quick grab and go.

Well made product. Good construction. Directions enclosed were not clear. Amazon site for the lock had betterdescription on how to set combination. Using those it was easy to set the lock and easy to open with newcombination. Rated weather proof although I have not yet used one in the rain.

Absolutely Cheap as you could get
I have had better locks from a box of cracker jacks, absolute joke if they are trying to sell these as locks, a security device. I would not lock s tricycle with these if I could set a combo. Terrible!

Great for keeping the honest people honest
These are about what you'd expect to get at their current price of $11 for a pair of locks. They really won't secure anything against someone motivated. They're just a step above using a carabiner. Just for fun, I learned to decode them by feel while I was watching TV.That said - these are exactly what I needed. They're locking some bins in my house. No one that's semi honest is going to defeat the lock and open the bin. If it weren't for the lock, they'd look because it's not locked. With the lock, they won't. That's all I ask. Hopefully someone whose dishonest will choose to break the locks instead of breaking the bins to open them.
