Retirement Countdown Clock (Fishing) PLAIN WHITE BOX (not gift box as shown)

I like the retirement countdown clock for fishing. It is a great product and a good gift for someone at work.

Bought this for my husband to help him hold on through the next couple of years until retirement. :) I had higher hopes for this little clock. It comes in a nicely designed gift box, but the clock itself is just black plastic with a very cheap looking sticker attached to the front. It really looks like a gag gift, rather than something a person would want to keep out on a desk at work or table at home. Kind of sad that it isn't a bit nicer. It looks more like a $2 item than a $20 item.Worse, ours died about two minutes after we finished programming it. We tried replacing batteries twice-- no luck. I'm really sad that this gift purchase was a total bust. :(

I gave this to my father, and he absolutely loves it. He's even taken it to work to show it off. It is reprogrammable, so he plans to pass it down when he retires in a couple of years.The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's pretty small. Not a deal-breaker for me, but I would recommend checking the specs before you order it.
