Once receiving an unpacking this item, I quickly started to put it together, following the directions to a tee.What I noticed right away were that the pieces are thick and fairly solid, and a little heavy which means pretty good quality. The finish on all the pieces was beautiful, smooth and clean.I would know that it’s important when assembling it that things are a lot easier if you have a small screw gun, but you do not need them and can hand tighten. It will just take a little longer.Luckily I had a screw gun and it still took me about 20 to 25 minutes to put it together by myself.I took immediate notice of the quality of the hardware, which was good, and there are several points at which you need to insert a small wood peg which joins certain pieces at this stage. I usually would add some wood glue not too much so that leaks out of the seam, but enough to make the connection of the frame even stronger , but this is not necessary.I would also point out that unlike myself you would want to follow directions exactly, particularly when you are putting on the other side of the table.You’ll be instructed to attach one side and one leg to the table top and bottom shelf I would advise against attaching the legs and then the bottom shelf it will make things that much easier and faster.I was very impressed with the holes that were drilled and the overall ease of lining everything up and getting it tightOnce the assembly was completed, I wish that they would’ve added a third secured screw or something in the middle of the leg to the top of the middle of the table topI ordered this particular coffee table due in part two the bottom shelf the design and style but also the color and most importantly the size it was the perfect size I neededFor the price you get decent value I do not think you get a super hot discounted deal at 150+ tax But it’s a good solid table is a bigger size than most and does have extra thick, long legs ensuring integrityIt’s fairly heavy once completed, but I’m fairly able-bodied and was able to move it by myself. It’s easy to clean, but also is easy to get fingerprints and small marks on the surface, so keep in mind, you will most likely have to maintain and wipe it down consistently ,All in all it provides extremely large amounts of space to put things if need be both on the top and the bottom and it’s strong enough where it should last quite a long time even if I have to move

Looks great once assembled. Assembly wasn't horrible and table is sturdy.

The table seems well made and assembly is straight forward. Appreciated colored screws, hole patches and felt pads for legs. None of these are provided on the matching end tables by this company.

Great value & look for the price. Extremely easy to assemble.

This is not solid wood. The espresso color is very dark brown, almost black. Easy to put together by a person who knows about simple furniture building. (Locking cams, cam bolts and dowel rods, oh my!) The instructions were very easy to follow. My daughter had to drill out the very last hole which was not drilled through all the way. The finish may not last but it looks great! Use coasters!

This was super easy to put together, I did it myself in about one hour and the wood looks really nice. A great addition to my new apartment. The only issue I have is that it’s not that sturdy, I feel like I have to be super gentle with it or I run the risk of it breaking. Luckily for me it’s just my husband and I, so nobody is leaning on it or bumbling into it. For the price, I’m super happy with it and would purchase again.

Very nice product, easy to assemble, sturdy with a nice storage capacity for magazines. The design makes it easy to clean , over all its a great coffee table.
