Orchid Potting Mix Orchid Bark, Mix Pine Bark and Perlite, Good Drainage and Water Retention (2 Quart)

I love this mix. It’s finer than what you can buy in big box stores and seems like better quality in my opinion. I add orchid bark to my soil every time I repot anything to help with drainage and the smaller pieces just tend to work better for my plants.

The mix was better than I expected. Shipped fast and packed well.

I’m new to orchids. Have an orchid that I didn’t take care of well, somehow it didn’t die and I became devoted to reviving him. He’s about a year old and was root bound and in potting soil in the same pot I bought him in.This medium is exactly what orchids need. That being said it’s very very expensive for what it is. The smallest bag is very small and I feel like if you have more than one to repot you could easily make this yourself for much much cheaper. For me doesnr make sense as this is my only orchid, but if you have multiple do this.That being said it filled my whole new pot and so far my orchid is happy. I finally have a flower even.Four stars, because it’s great and works but just too expensive for what it is.

I’ve purchased this orchid substrate several times and it’s consistently excellent. Great quality, retains moisture well, and promotes healthy root growth. I’ll definitely keep buying it.

This is a nice orchid mix for mini orchids because the wood bark is not bigger then the plant and has a nice mix of bark and chips sprinkled with some perlite to hold water. I know some of the reviewers have stated this was pricey but the thought of buying a bigger bag for the same price which either the excess is thrown out or lost in the house is also a waste. So if you need enough orchid mix to re pot two small 3.5 inch pots to 4.5' pots this is for you.

I must have read the label wrong just wasn't expecting it to be tiny wasn't enough to use for my orchids. But it is good quality

Helped my orchid bloom again when I first repotted with this new mulch. Should have bought more!
