This kept my nephew occupied for a while. It was worth the price as the quality was outstanding.

My husband loves these wooden puzzles. They also make great gifts for puzzle lovers!

I was hoping to place a gift card in the center so that the recipient had to work to get to it. Unfortunately that isn't possible. It comes in a neat pyramid shape box. I think it will be fun, but no incentive to complete it.

After reaching out to no response, I read reviews trying to avoid spoilers. Turned out to be a piece that was stuck. Unfortunately there have been a couple of other mechanical issues that made the whole thing more frustrating than necessary. I’m still impressed overall, but went from a top-tier to mid-level.Looks great on a shelf, very difficult, decent craftsmanship, great deal on sale for $30, perfect size.

Good quality, very difficult bit definitely doable. I saw reviews that the wood was cut poorly but mine was perfect. The prize box was too small for even a gift card so I had to bend it and make it work, so keep that in mind.

The box itself is well made, and the mechanisms work without any trouble.Compared to other puzzle boxes like those made by IDVenture, the clues on the exterior of the box come close to being indecipherable. For example, there is a set of things on the box meant to suggest an order that puzzles should be solved in and what to do with the answers, but some of the puzzles are unmarked, leaving the solver to guess what order they should go in (and order is important in this case). There are controls that have no marking at all (literally none), and the object they control is on a far side of the box, and there's nothing to even hint there's any connection between the two. Once again the only thing to do is experiment until you stumble on the answer, which is not quite up to their claim that everything is resolvable by logic alone. There is one puzzle that is absolutely head-scratching about how they thought anyone would arrive at their solution through logic alone.Not really related to the product, but they have a character mascot called "BuBu the Mummy" that is embarrassingly cringey and seems aimed at little kids which is odd for a puzzle box marketed to adults.

This provided fun entertainment for my family as they worked the puzzle to gain access to their Christmas gifts - money! I'll definitely try another of these great puzzles next year!

This is a great gift item for someone who loves challenging puzzles. He is still working on figuring out the clues. His competitive nature has been challenged.
