OMG—holds blades tight. Does not loosen grip on the blades, even heavy duty ones, and is 100x better than any Xacto handle.I bought two other styles of Excel handles and they, also, hold a variety of blades tightly.

Product arrived early, in full holiday deliveries cranked that’s pretty darn good. This tool works very well. It will get a lot of use.

Well made, feels sturdy.The X-ACTO version of this size handle snapped while in use. The red handle model that takes the heavier duty blades. The company makes garbage.Excel makes good quality stuff!

I use this knife to cut 8-9 oz leather when I make gun holsters andbelts, I think it is easier to use than a head knife, I have better controlof this knife.
