I wasn’t apprehensive about this purchase until I opened the box. The west shelving seemed a bit flimsy but I decided to trust the process.1. Very lightweight shipping box and so was the shelf2. Very easy to put together - even without the instructions. I know people aren’t happy with the clarity of the instructions but honestly, it would be hard to mess this up. It took me 35 minutes and the hardest part was slipping the shelving sleeves on the poles. But a mallet does come in handy for making sure everything is tight and secure.3 pleasantly surprised with how sturdy it felt once together. Is holding my kids gaming units just fine.4. Overall for the price, good shelf. Would buy again.

I bought this because it looked lightweight and easy to assemble and disassemble. I was wrong.It took me two hours to build despite easy to understand instructions. A few minutes in I decided to wear eye protection and if you buy this I recommend you do too. (Consider using a hammer or mallet also, to get the poles the same length and height when pushed into the plastic spacers.)The pieces are sharp, slippery (even more so with included gloves), and require a lot of force to put together. I had to exert so much force at times that the metal poles buckled and started to split along the seam, and I'm NOT a strong person.The laminated fabric was under so much strain it tore. Some pieces took multiple tries to put together. The plastic spacers are too pliable to really hold anything in place properly, and I noticed the metal poles would start to shred through them at the edges. If you look at the final product for more than a few seconds you'll start to see distortion. It is sturdy, but imho spare yourself the trouble and get a proper bookcase.

I put 5 stars so that it wouldn’t get taken down and people can actually see what they are getting themselves into. So I bought two of these and they were an absolute nightmare to put together . The instructions leave a lot to be desired.And one is also missing a backing part.The parts are literally flimsy plastic and thin, bendable aluminum rods, which makes me wonder if they’ll even hold any kind of weight I bought them for books, but I am not sure if it will even hold the lightest of books.

This is very affordable and works well in a quiet corner. It was very difficult to assemble, due to the tension between the rows/columns of the shelves. I do not have anything heavy on them, just clothing, and some of the shelves will not stay in place. Perhaps someone younger and stronger would not have had the trouble I did. Also, calling the fiber of the unit "cloth" is a bit of a stretch. Playing with semantics, it is a woven plasticine fiber, but you would never find it in someone's clothing closet.

I bought this for my son's room, it was pretty easy to build and you cane make it whatever size you want which I like but it's very cheaply made and not sturdy so I wouldn't recommend but since I already bought it I will keep it

Very much easy and self explanatory to figure out , was looking for a shelf for my room because I was in desperate need to get my stuff off the floor. The shelf overall is very lightweight to move around but is very stable , no extra side tools needed 🙌.P.s. don’t make the same mistake I made , make sure you look at the sizes of the small poles and long ones . The small ones are for the shelves to stand on , and the long ones for the actual shelves. Made the mistake of reversing the purposes of the poles , and had to dismantle it and redo the shelves 😬😵‍💫.

So assembly was decently easy that said unless you plan to go the extra mile and glue the darn thing together it comes apart stupidly easy I have had the darn pegs pop out multiple times and it is not very sturdy. The point is it is cheap it works as a very temporary fix but is a waste of money.

It’s a little time consuming….intimidating when you open the box, but not too bad once you start putting it together. Took about an hour. Decent piece for the price, and seems pretty sturdy. It does not come with anything to lag it to the wall, so I did add a couple of brackets, considering I’m using it in a child’s room.Helpful hint - slide the bars into the material pieces before placing them in the holes. Made it go quicker once I started doing it that way. You will want to use a mallet.

takes a while to build Once it's built it's great it holds the weight as described. I actually take the shelf with me to vendor show events I keep it built. just put it in my truck bed and go

Es algo difícil de armar pero queda resistente y le caben muchas cosas. Si se distribuye bien el peso dejando lo más ligero en la parte de arriba queda muy estable. Se puede armar dándome las distintas formas que vienen en las imágenes pero ya no es posible poner el plástico del fondo, por su tamaño solo alcanza a cubrir dos cuadros.

I've put together some s**** furnature before but this was the worst. The outer fabric panels are about an inch to short so they don't fit ( I've tried every way possible) some of the mettal bars were bent and mishaped so I had to pull out all the tools to fix that so they would fit in the holes. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!EDIT: in what world would one think soaking a peice of plastic in warm water to build a shelf was a thing?!?! Messy as hell and beyond inconvenient when building a shelf. Again do not buy this!
