This collection of dry-erase markers was supposed to have 17 different interesting colors in it. One of the product photos even contains an example of all the special colors that are supposed to be included. The description includes such colors as Amethyst, Sapphire, Aquamarine, Emerald, Lime, Pumpkin, and Plum. What I actually received were multiples of the same basic colors that are in most EXPO classroom collections. I got Black, Brown, Purple, Blue, Green, Orange, Red, and some Pink. Pink is the only color I didn't already have.I would have returned the box, but this item is ineligible for a return. Bad form.Update: I send a message to Amazon Customer Service. I explained my problem. The customer service representative offered to send me a new box of markers in the colors advertised in this post. The markers arrived promptly, but they were the WRONG COLORS AGAIN! Be advised... If you order this collection for the colors described in the post, you may not receive them. I now have two boxes of the wrong colors that are "not eligible for return."

You can't go wrong with Expo Dry Erase markers. The colors are bold and vibrant, and the chiseled tip makes it easy to write beautifully in front of my students! The colors do not dry out easily, but the red one does seem to leave more shadow marks behind than the other colors. However. you can't beat this brand. I have tried many ,many imitation brands and they do not hold up to Expo! Expo brand markers are truly a teacher's dream!

I got these markers from my preschool classroom. Many of my activities are some kind of worksheet with a letter of the week and then I put the sheets in this plastic and have them use these expo markers. They are easy to erase as long as you do so right after writing it down. Some colours are master than others but otherwise they are great markers

I bought this for the assortment of colors that were pictured because my daughter loves to color on the whiteboard— and it was only the basic colors. Misleading advertising and a big disappointment.
