It’s left a residue on two of my books already. Definitely a lot of good things (transparency, writeability) but don’t use these on your first edition gutenberg.

Long strips pictured are worth the purchase.

I primarily ordered the set for the long strips to help with book annotations. But the amount of long strips is miniscule. Won't be ordering then again.

I have used the colored notes before, and found I mostly preferred the line highliters, as the colored transparent notes were a bit much usually.This time I decided to try the clear notes, and ran into the same problem others have reported, with the clear notes not retaining highlighting marks very well. Mine were disappearing overnight.So I decided to try the Sharpie permanent ultrafine pen markers on the clear notes. They work great. They can be used to underline and/highlight. Probably any brand of permanent marker pens would do the same. They dry in quickly, and seem to stay on. Problem seems to be solved!I only wish the notes were more transparent than they are, they have a light frosty appearance.

I usually read on my kindle, but received some paperbacks and gifts and wanted to be able to mark certain passages and makes notes, but didn't want to write in the book. These are perfect! I can highlight with the long strips, write notes on the clear stickies, and mark the pages on the edges to find things easier later. Perfect for the picky bookworm.
