This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for...
First off...I've been searching for an actual 80's boombox for quite a while. When I say "actual" I mean literally from the '80s...a Panasonic, Sony, etc that was built and used in the '80s.The issue is that to find one in good shape that works really well costs around $400.I've looked at the modern Bluetooth boomboxes before but reviews were iffy and I just wasn't impressed.BUT THEN...I found this. Now this thing may crap out in a month...but at the time of this review this thing is everything I wanted.THE SOUNDIt sounds as good or better than the vintage radios of my childhood. The tape player works great and the Bluetooth is flawless.RETRO FEELThis thing nails it. It's substantial. It doesn't feel cheap at all. Plastics are of good quality and the knobs are fluid and smooth. Some have complained that it doesn't come with a rechargeable battery. Honestly and personally, I don't care about that. I actually like the retro experience of clunking in 6 D batteries. Again..the reason I wanted this so badly was for the retro feel and this thing delivers!

Good value for the price point
Recently received and so far mostly satisfied. One of the reasons I chose this one one over others is because the unit supports type 1 2 3 and four cassette tapes. I have numerous recorded cassette tapes from yester year and most are type 2. The sound quality is decent on unit. The radio tuner works well also I have not used the thumb drive. I did notice that the blue tooth works ok but not as loud as other functions. Over all a decent unit . The user manual was straight forward and the build quality seems good

Nice little Boombox
So after returning two other Boombox’s one really expensive I have settled on this one sound quality is OK it beats the rest that’s for sure it’s not total up-to-date sound quality but it’s just good enough made very well claims to have best cassette player in a boombox but they didn’t include Auto stop for rewind and fast-forward disappointed in that. Easy to operate pretty happy with it although I think these companies can do better with sound quality surprised they don’t put the time and energy and money into making them better but this one works for me I recommend it. If your looking for a lot of base in spectacular in the sound quality you’re probably going to need to get a Bluetooth speaker because most to all of these boom box stereos are not mean to sound very well these days just can’t get over that

Disappointing Xmas GIft
We bought this for my daughter as part of the retro-cool trend. At unboxing she was thrilled. The sound quality is good, and the overall fit and finish is good. All functions work well except the function for which we bought the thing- the ability to play and record a cassette. The machine will not play a cassette (we've tried 5 different cassettes each of 3 different types) nor will it record. We're very disappointed to have discovered this after the return window has closed.

An All-Around, Awesome Boom Box!
As a guitarist of over 30 years, I've long appreciated the convenience of cassette recorders as a handy means of capturing new ideas before they're lost to the void. I purchased this unit for doing just that - but also, with the intention of digitizing old recordings in a simple, no-fuss manner. This item definitely fit the bill and more.It has a cool, retro look and feel about it - reminiscent of the 80's. The functionality is superb, with all the familiar features one would expect from a traditional boom box. Though I don't really don't use the radio, it works great. The bass boost feature is a plus, too. But the ultimate selling point for me, are the converting capabilities.I have boxes and boxes of old cassette tapes and in times past, I would need to connect a cassette deck to my computer and use software for converting recordings into MP3 or WAV file format (a time consuming hassle). With the Street Rocker, all you need to do is plug a thumb drive into it, press play and go - so much simpler!I've found that I can get roughly, 3-90 minute cassette tapes converted onto a 256 MB zip drive. Then, it's as easy as connecting the flash drive into your computer and saving the files into the folder of your choosing. For all the more this unit costs, one really couldn't ask for more than that - it's an exceptional value for the list price.

Transport back in time!
The media could not be loaded. Product was awesome. As soon as I opened up the package I was transported back to my teenage years. The sound quality is pretty legit and is easy to manage with the radio equalizer dials just as it was when I was a young adolescents. Purchased some chargeable D batteries to use with it and couldn’t be happier. I get a lot of compliments from company when I have it out for gatherings. Definitely worth the money and happy I made the purchase.

LOUD! Passing cars stand no chance (sub45mph)
The volume on this is incredibly loud, which was my primary factor for buying a more expensive boom box. I don’t care about the other features (might use them later), as I got this to blast cassettes next to a busy road while I rock and play chess watching cars pass. This is my fourth try on cassette decks/boom boxes and I think this will be the last one I get as it is WAY louder than I need (haven’t even gotten to half volume yet).
