Excellent source of info on knee pain
I'm still in the recovery/rehab stage from 2 surgeries to repair fractured patella and tibia. I found this book to be very informative and easy to comprehend. Putting tips and exercises to use daily and what a difference they have made to my level of pain. Going to recommend my surgeon recommend to all his knee surgery patients. Great job Chloe!

Very comprehensive and easy to understand
I have a perplexing knee pain and am trying to educate myself and hopefully identify the cause. I did not remember any event, injury so it is probably an overuse problem. Several times the book mentions that although the pain is in the knee, the cause may be in another part of the body. I have flat feet and now am investigating how overpronation can cause muscles, tendons and ligaments to try to. compensate.causing stress in the knee and resulting pain. The book may show you alternative causes you didn’t consider. Good luck!

Informative but biased
Update 01/09/25: Its self evident that the author is not only qualified to have written this book, she also has an easy-to- digest writing style. The book covers most, but certainly not all possible questions anyone with knee pain may have. I like the fact that she looks at all major possible causes of knee pain.I happened to injure one of my knees over time, and I wanted to get to the bottom of all natural healing modalities instead of getting cortisone injections or a surgery. The book is helpful as it also offers specific exercises, incl. those that strengthen the supporting muscles, and thus alleviate the pressure on one's knee.Overall, I consider the book very well written but it has a major flaw: the section about alternative/natural treatments is weak, and her bias against alternative treatment is blatant. Considering her medical back ground, its to be expected. I do hope that one day someone writes a book that covers alternative healing methods of knee (or any other physical) pain in a professional way.Update: I have already started alternative physiotherapy with major success (swelling gone, pain reduced by over 90%). The main keys to success was breaking up the calcification with a Gua Sha tool (and removing the broken up calcification by natural means), draining the excess synovial fluid with a $12 cream) and realigning a muscle. The entire treatment took 3 weeks. None of this information can be found in the book. However, I am still using the book to find out bits and pieces that can speed up the healing process. Especially the exercise section is helpful as I will need an exercise routine to heal out the remaining minor knee issues left.

The Best Book On Knee Pain
Being a long time avid trail runner I’ve been through all of the books on knee pain and this one is hands down the best out there. It discusses tons of different conditions and causes and provides stretches and strengthening exercises to not only relieve pain but also fix it so it does not return. Beware of books out there that give you general information and then direct you to a website or programs that cost money to get the information that you really need.
