Sperry Top-Sider Santa Cruz Slide

This is my first slide sandal. I wanted to try them because I have problems finding flip flop style sandals that match my feet. Most of the time, the thong is too far over and hurts the 2nd toe.All in all, I'm happy with these sandals. Fit is good. The comfort is there.I'm knocking off one star for a minor quality control issue. The rubber insert in the foot bed near the heel on one shoe was protruding above the surrounding foot bed enough to be annoying. I dressed it down with my Dremel tool and all is well. It wasn't worth sending back although had I bought locally, I would have swapped them for this issue.

I ordered the size 12, as my feet are 11.5, but they were hugely large. Re-ordered size 11, and they fit perfectly.Additional notes: I've had a chance to wear these for a few days now, so I added the 5th star. These sandals are very comfortable. My previous sandals had a foot cradle with very hard and sharp edges. Man! that hurt when I stepped on that edge. These have a very soft sole, and do not hurt if they slip off of your foot a bit while walking and your foot comes down on that sharp edge. Also, they are very easy to adjust for when you want to wear sox with them. Hope they last a while.

Felt good on/under my feet the first time I put them on. Sturdy and stylish (as stylish as you can get with flip flops at least). I like that it has neoprene on the edges to prevent chafing. Even though some in my household have their own sandals, they prefer to use mine.I have had them for years and they show no signs of falling apart anytime soon (which is good, because it looks like they've been discontinued and I don't know what I'll do if I have to get new ones!!!)

With a comfortable fit and easy adjustment, the Sperry Santa Cruz Slide is a welcome addition to my summer boating shoe collection. While it provides no toe protection and will be of no use for a 50 yard dash, it earns its place for easy-on, easy-off protection when jumping back and forth from ski boat to dock. Once on board it's easy to remove and store. With the typical Sperry sole, it appears as if it will last at least two hard summers of use.

I got this so for sailing trips. I tried sandals with the thong between the toes but just couldn't find anything comfortable. These ended up being the perfect option for me. The only time I seem to have a problem with them is when I'm trying to walk on uneven services like rocks. Other than that they are perfect.

Well designed, grabs the foot so one does not get the "flip-flop" effect. The moulded sole is firm yet soft enough so if one accidentally stands on the heel's edge it gives and does not hurt. Looks good. I use it as slippers, constantly used at home.

These are great feeling sandals. You can walk all day in them and not think twice about them or worry about blisters and such.I personally like my sandals to fit my exact foot size since i don't have to worry about my toes having enough space like a regular shoe. I wear a size 12 shoe and so i ordered size 11 sandal and i should have ordered size 10. Very durable sandal.

Extremely comfortable! These have the neoprene lining that really helps the uppers feel like they mold to your feet. The leather softens after a few days as does the rubber sole. I wanted a pair of leather slides that were adjustable but don't look like athletic wear. These fulfilled all my requirements and even got wife approval. Nicest and most comfortable slides that I have owned.
