Cracking set
Used to drill porcelain tiles and worked a treat.Recommend for the price. I used water to cool as I drilled and went through with ease.

Good value for money and do the job fine!
I have recently refitted an entire bathroom, adding new in wall tap valves, in tiled walls etc. I needed various sizes and found this kit at 25 quid, decided to carry on looking as I wasnt sure how well they would cut porcelain and figure get cheap, if it doesn't work not so much money wasted. So picked this cheaper 15 quid set, money well spent.I used the saws on porcelain tiles, spraying water on as I cut to keep the saw cool, you need to start the cut at an angle so the saw barrel can be supported by your hand, once you get going you can slowy move upright until the saw keeps itself in its hole, then go slowish and keep spraying water now and then.I cut several holes with each saw, so it did the job cheap enough. The only saw that isn't much use is the 6mm, the hole in the centre gets blocked easily because its quite small, the rest all seemed fine, the 50mm did its job well.

Smaller diameter shorter life
Overall this was actually a bargain. The larger sizes cut well and last a decent length of time. The smaller sizes do not last long. The 10mm + I have used alot and they are almost as good as branded equivalent. I have used them on mainly 10mm porcelain tiles they have had hard use.The 6mm and 8mm did not last long. I think that they managed about 8-10 holes each in porcelain. The holes were good so I won't complain.Overall it is a good set and as long as you go slow and cool the bit they will last in good condition.

A good purchase
Good value for money. A good selection of sizes, but a centring drill would be useful for better accuracy. I have used them twice and find them to be really good at cutting through standard Tiles.

Not so bad
This set is not bad for the moneyI would recommend using them a low speed and cooling/lubricating with water as you go.If they get hot they're goosed

Surprised, cut well
Good set of hole cutters. Used on ceramic tiles. Make sure the cutter stays wet as it lengthens its life. Would buy again

Not bad for price
People saying they burnt out in one go are drilling to fast or no water or both.Being a tiler I drill alot of holes. These are okay to good.Bought them because I needed a certain size at the time and knew they'd arrive quick.Used them first drilling a 50mm hole on a 12mm thick porcelain tile and they were pretty good. Keeping the bit wet with a sponge with the drill on speed setting 1. It took about a minute and made a good clean hole. What people forget is that your grinding a hole out of a tough material. More speed equals more heat. Slow and steady is better. If you want them to last longer don't rush and keep them cool with water. Not bad for the price and a pretty good selection of sizes.Paid £18.99 in December 22I put 3 star for longevity because I'd expect them to last shorter than my more expensive and better quality ones.
