Reliable Lock and Outstanding Customer Service
The digital lock was easy to install with clear instructions. Its sleek design, app and user-friendliness were great. The purchase includes a 2-year warranty and lifetime customer service.When the need arose to contact Hornbill's customer service nearly a year later, I was truly impressed. Nancy, their representative, was attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She guided us through solutions and eventually sent a replacement lock. Great lock
My original lock was not working properly.. it would randomly not lock from the inside. I thought it was an alignment problem but then it stopped working from the outside when I put in the code. Contacted customer service and Tara Zheng was extremely helpful and sent out a replacement lock She figured out the mother board must have been bad. I love my new lock! It works perfectly and was so easy to set up. Thank you Tara!

Good product, excellent customer service
Let me say from the start, I've had three of these locks for 4 months and have no regrets buying them. The locks still work. I like the app. The customer service is fantastic.You will need somebody handy to help you install this - at least I did. It's complicated.As far as functionality, it works the way it needs to. The inside lock turns smoothly. I had to buy two of the gateway squares separately from these locks so that all three locks' signals could reach to my router. The gateways are small enough that I've hidden them behind other objects in the toy room and kitchen. They just need an outlet.So many features I love! I absolutely love that I can lock and unlock remotely. That was key for me. I also like that I was able to set up the front door to auto lock after 5 minutes but didn't have to do that to all the locks because you can set different settings for each lock.Also, you can name each code. I have four on each door and don't know if there's a limit. When I set a time limit on one of the codes, it worked the way I set it up. I'm able to see which family member entered my house when, based on which code was used, which pops up in my notifications immediately. That makes me feel even safer. I set up four digit codes, though they can be much longer (who can remember a random 8 digit number??). The app is good, easy to navigate and use, aside from a few issues that I've had, but both times I have contacted customer service and they fixed the problem.I have never tried to use the keys, so I can't speak to that.My biggest complaint right now is probably the battery life. I've had these installed for four months and have already had to change the batteries on the back door twice (despite that one being used rarely), the front door once (code used at least once a day), though I haven't had to change the batteries in the garage door yet (code rarely used). I did have an issue getting rechargeable AAs inside the lock. Strangely enough, the batteries just barely didn't fit - too big. I'm not sure if the problem was the batteries or the size of the space in the lock.I have no desire to look for another lock. I'm very satisfied with these and would recommend it to anyone.

Great smart lock
Satisfied the purchase. Love the smart lock. I bought 2 and just installed one. They need to enlarge original hole. It’s not big issue for me. Now it works great. Only thing I didn’t go through is that I don’t know how to hook up 2.4G wifi with the lock gateway. So far I can’t control the lickand setup passwords remotely, yet. If the customer service explains it for me, I will be really appreciated it! Recommend the product.After hook up with gateway next day of installation. Everything is good now. I can setup timed passcode, and permanent one. When lock was unlocked I will get the massage right way from my phone.So far I installed second one in backyard door, too.The product is everything I need for my Airbnb hosting. And it’s great with lower price than some other brands!
