is there noticable backlight bleed / is IPS glow noticable in dark rooms?

This is an IPS. Not good for dark rooms. would be very bright for a dark room. You will not notice any bleed unless you purposely put the entire screen in a black picture. I have 2 of these monitors for non gaming use and i cannot tell the difference between this and a 32ud99 monitor unless i put them side by side. This is best bang for the buck monitor with 3 way adjustable stand (height, swivel, rotate)
