How many skateboard ceramic bearings are in the box?

8 longboard bearings come in the box. I've gotten a chance to use with them for about 3 week and they ride great.

Some of them are stiff do I need lube and what kind?

They already have lube from the factory. It's normal, they'll loosen up a bit with use. You can also clean them and use a drop of light sewing machine oil.
