I wasn't lucky enough to get a brand new one as another reviewer posted, but I expected it to be used, and I honestly didn't think there were any new ones out there. Either way, I'm 100% satisfied, as mine is in excellent condition. For the price, this is the best chest rig available. For those complaining about it being too big or too small, you simply haven't figured out how to adjust the waist belt yet. Yes, it is adjustable. Search YouTube and there's plenty of instructional videos that help you unlock the sheer awesomeness of the USGI FLC!

Well made

This is an actual real Army surplus FLS system vest!! How can you lose for this cheap price! I'm getting this for my nephew's son, and even if it is a little heavy for him, and too big, It will still be a great addition to the set of toy Army items I got him for Christmas. The fake vests that sell as costumes on Amazon are just not the quality, and won't be an item they can use more than once. This vest will last a lifetime, and he will quickly grow into it, and it has adjustments that can fit small torsos, and you can even get the PDF field manual online for the MOLLIE system FLS vest! I think this is a win win situation even if he doesn't presently fit it, because he will quickly grow into it, and can use if for hunting or camping the rest of his life! It was way better than buying a kids costume that he will just grow out of, and destroy the first few times he plays with it. I say again - how can you lose!!!!

What a great vest. I got mine to be part of my bug out gear. I'm 6'3" and weigh 290 and it fits me fine. I have it loaded with 2 magazine holders that each hold 3 of my 556 mags. I have 3 handgrenade pouches with various objects in them. I also have a first aid kit, a tool kit, a mag pouch with a flashlight in it, and a 100 Rd M249 pouch that also has various items in it. I also picked up a holster for my handgun. I have all this gear on the front so I can ride in a vehicle if necessary. I would highly recommend this vest to anyone prepping or also as a vest to take to the range.

This came in on time and looking good. The vest will work for day out for airguns, hiking, trail walking, over all a good product. The adjustment was a bit confusing. An email to the seller got a response that did not answer how but did lead me to figure it out. 4 stars is for that reason. There is a molle strip at the back waist level of the vest. There is a covered metal tab on either side that you must bend a little to get out of the loops. Once done you can adjust to fit any size. Adjust and re-insert. Good to go.

Item was in perfect shape - brand new - when I received it. I am a big guy (6'2" 300) and it adjusts so it fits too large for me (will fit over jackets in winter). Plenty of Molle connection points on the front and sides. I wish they had designed it so there were connection points on the back shoulder area, but it's still a great piece of kit. Perfect for rapid response (out the door at 0300) when you don't want to grab your entire kit. Molle pouches are readily available set up your load out how ever you want. Much better than the sewn-on "assault vests" coming out of China that you can't move the pouches!

This vest appears to be made of high quality. There is plenty of room for adjustments. It appears this vest can be made to fit a skinny person all the way up to a big person. I bought this vest as a new one. It is a good buy for the money. When you make your adjustments, it is not necessary to cut off any excess strap material. Just roll it up and make two wraps with matte black electrical tape. You may decide to sell it or give it away later to upgrade for a different one later.

I am using this vest together with some MOLLE compatible ammo pouches and grenade pouches and a canteen holder as tool bags in construction work. I work in HVAC and normal tool bags are heavy on the shoulders and annoying all the way around. Using this vest seems to lighten my load and helps distribute the weight of my tools to my body without pressure from a belt on my hips. The best part is that if I don't like where a tool is, I just unsnap and move that pouch and, if a pouch wears out or the vest wears out it is cheaper to replace the one worn out piece than the entire rig. The vest is very well made and will not wear out easily. It is strong enough to hold anything I can think of. I am going to buy a second one with some MOLLE corespondent pieces for my camera gear when I go hiking for photography.
