90 Degree Angle HDMI Adapters

So I recently bought a 2021 Yukon with the Rear Entertainment system. There are 2 HDMI ports as for some reason GM did not want to integrate roku or fire tv into the system.... but to solve this problem and make it look as clean as I could without having to take the fire stick in and out I used these right angle adapters. This was to point the stick down so it does not stick out and get broken off or knocked down by kids getting in and out. I paired this with Fire TV Stick Lite and AmazonBasics USB Type-C to Micro-B 2.0 Cable. I have had great success since install and the kids really enjoy it. photos coming soon

This is one of the great little inventions for a minor annoyance. Do you have a nice flat screen TV on the wall or sitting on a nice console table? Where are most of the HDMI inputs? Probably on the side. That is where most of them are, with one on the back. An HDMI cable has about a 1" long connector and then there is the heavy wire behind it. Often the cable will stick out the side of your television before you can curve it around and thus detract from the clean look you want. These little adapters are great. They are small, You plug it into one of the side ports and now it is pointing at a right angle towards the back of the TV set. Plug the HDMI cable into the adapter and your cable is pointing backwards towards the wall and out of sight. Please Note: Pay close attention to how the HDMI ports are arranged on your particular television. The HDMI cable connector pin is longer on one side and shorter on the other side. It is not reversible. Depending how your television HDMI ports are set up you might need the 90 degree ones, but if it is opposite then you need to buy the 270 degree adapters. Both are available to purchase. Look closely before ordering. The narrow side is on the inside of the 90 degree adapters and on the outside edge of the 270 degree ones. if you get the wrong ones they will point to the front of the TV and not the back. The small details make all the difference. For a few dollars you can have that super sleek look for that 2"deep television and the 1080P HDMI devices connected to it. I looked at Home Depot and Lowes and could not find them anywhere. Some fancy AV home center might want $15-20 apiece for these. The fit is snug. HDMI connections show no loss of signal. I have 2 HDMI plugs on the back of my tv. One is right above the other. So only the 1 adapter on the bottom would work. This was perfect because it turned the cord down allowing tv to set closer to the wall. But when I tried to use the top HDMI plug, the bottom one was in the way so I could not use both like I had planned. The cord still stuck out so I had same problem.

Get fit on any HDMI connection and solidly made. Bottom Line: if you need them you can’t go wrong with your purchase.

Used these as I had limited space within media cabinet to fit A/V equipment. These HDMI plugs helped me reduce the amount of space needed (and avoid drilling holes in the back of the cabinet) to make the DVR fit. Work great and have not experienced any video quality issues. I was concerned about the HDMI cable "falling" out of these as they point down but no issues. I ordered these and the 270 degree adapters to see which ones would work. Both worked but due to what i needed the 90degrees are the ones i used. I'll keep the 270s for another project.

I purchased these adapters for an LG LCD TV that is mounted with a very shallow wall mount. The HDMI ports on the LG are straight out of the back and, due to the space between the all and TV, there was no way to plug HDMI cables directly into the back. LG anticipated this and included one 90 degree adapter, but I needed a second one for the other HDMI port. I found these on Amazon and, with Amazon Prime shipping, these were a good deal. The build quality on these are great. The connectors feel sturdy and there is no give or wiggle where they meet the plastic. The plastic itself is a rubberized type plastic and is fully molded around the connector, making it solid. The adapters plug snugly into the TV port and my HDMI cable plugs firmly into the other end. I highly recommend these.

I'm very organized when it comes to running cables. So for my entertainment system, I make sure the cables are not visible from the viewing angle. These adapters solved my issue with the side of the tv output. The hdmi cables are usually thick so the side output sticks out like an eyesore! Not sure why they labeled it 270 degree, but both these adapters are 90degree. I used both so the angle is 180degree, and my hdmi cable isn't bent to any angles. Beautiful! I would suggest studying the images to make sure it matches your tv's output. The hdmi outputs differs from one tv to another. You do not want the angle to go the opposite direction!

Bought for use on a tv with hdmi connections on the side. The male side of the 90 would have to be reversed to use on this sony tv. Used 1 on the top of a double hdmi wall jack inside the wall with no problem. They can be very handy if the angle is right for the application. Dont know if they make them the other way.

Over priced. But good product which was not found in any of the brick and mortar stores near to my location.

Good product, good value used to connect a HDMI port at rear of flat screen install to a remote quick port HDMI works great. The 90 degree turn brings the cable in line with standard knock out in electrical box.
