This is the third time I have purchased a subscription update from Amazon. To activate it go to the my orders section in your Amazon account click on your McAfee purchase that allows you to enter your email address if you have a McAfee account or gives you the option to create a McAfee account using your email address and your mobile phone number. You will be sent an email to activate your new subscription that takes you to the activation page and you can download the app/program then you will receive a code via SMS. Enter the code and that's it all installed and activated. I see some people are saying this is a scam but it works for me but make up your own minds. The saving you get by purchasing a license from Amazon and not McAfee directly is mind blowing. Oh and when you set up the account make sure NOT to activate the automatic account renewal option because when you need to update your license after the year is up you will be charged full price from then on. Just purchase the updated license from Amazon and go through the same activation process again. I hope this information helps.
