This seems to work very well and I'm very happy with it
Although the first day I struggled with getting it to work properly (which was mostly a "user brightness" issue), I was thankful for the customer service to promptly get back to me and resolve my struggle. I have used this for 2 months and thus far it has worked excellent. The only complaints are I'm not certain how long the thumb apparatus is going to last [but thus far has been fine] and I'm not certain it gives an accurate reading while on an elliptical machine, etc (but works as designed while sleeping). And I'm not sure what people are referring to with the battery life as my experience has been it lasts throughout the 8-10 hour sleep and more. For the money I was unable to find anything that holds a candle to this product and and quite pleased with it and the customer service.

Works Well
I'm very pleased with the product. The reason for the 4-star review is the first sensor that came with the device failed within a week of not using it very much. Up to that point I was very happy with the device. Easy to use, easy to read display, and long-term recording paired seamlessly with my phone and provides several nice graphs. I only wish that I could export the graphs to my PC for a better view and/or printing. There is an ability to send the reports to a "cloud", but I'm old-school paranoid and don't like sending information out into the void.Back to the sensor. I contacted the company using the email address on their web site and had a representative get back to me within a day or two (Julia). She asked for some additional information (to verify I had actually purchase a unit) and said they would send me a replacement. I assumed a new sensor but they sent a complete new device. Thus far it has worked well.I am unable to get decent readings using a fingertip type SpO2 sensor, and of course you can't wear one of those long term. This device is a nice compromise if you want a long-term reading but don't want all the flashy extras (and the extra cost).

A life saver (maybe literally)
Did a professional sleep test because I would wake up feeling weird sometimes. The results said I had "mild sleep apnea" so minutes during the night I would stop breathing. Yikes!, after a lot of reading on the subject I found out that is not uncommon and anything less than around 95% oxygen could become serious. So I needed to monitor my oxygen level all night. Got this one because it met all my requirements at a reasonable price. Put it on like a wristwatch, slip the ring style sensor over a finger, install the cellphone app and you're ready to go. Turn it on the wrist unit links to the app and you start seeing your oxygen %, pulse rate, and body movement. (NOT your breathing movement). Install the PC or MAC program on computer and you can easily download the results to it, so very easy to see the results and charts. When you set your minimum oxygen % on the app the wrist and finger units will vibrate to wake you if the % falls below your set level (I set mine to 88%). Waking you up could be important so you don't stay below that level which could be dangerous. In the morning when you check the results you can see in detail all the times it went below your set level (and how low it actually went). You can now do what is required to try and fix your sleep habits or the need for devices (like CPAP) so that the oxygen level stays above ~95% (depending on age, etc). This is well worth the price so you know if you need to fix an issue. The only thing it doesn't do and I haven't found a home way to do it is monitor your breathing (when and how long you may stop breathing during the night, so sleep apnea). As far as I can see only pro sleep study places can do that and report it to your doctor. The only thing I'd change on the very comfortable wrist/finger unit is the finger "rubber band" style ring isn't big enough and doesn't adjust. They say just put it on a different finger, but I have big hands so it was even tight on my little finger. I cut the lower part of the "band" and super glued in a section of a regular wide rubber band across it to make it bigger and that worked perfectly.

Good for sleeping
I like it for sleeping because it will buzz my finger and wake me up if my oxygen goes below whatever number I set it at.I didn't find it to be very practical during the day. If you are moving around or you are in the sunlight, the readings become inaccurate. Also digital display does not show up in normal daylight.

Updated: NOT Really great!
Ignore everything below because it stops working properly after a few months!! Error 4 ALL THE TIME!!! Randomly shuts off. Randomly stops tracking. Randomly just no error just an icon that no one knows what it is but nothing is happening!!! I was really using it and now it is worthless! It also shows incorrect heart rate, like super high when I add a finger monitor to the same finger it is not the same data or super low and same thing... This is dangerous, I could miss an actual health event because I am not sure if it is correct or not! Do not waste your money.I love the metrics that this tracks and how I can down load them for my doc! I love that the data is ready to evaluate and it has really helped me gain comfort in my O2 solution that it is effective. My watch gives me a range for sleep but not amount of time in each range. It says that my range was maybe 85 to 95 over night. But with this I see that I only spent a few minutes under 90. So in no longer worried or stressed! One thing I would improve. The battery life is shorter than I would like and it takes to long to charge. I would also suggest a sound or vibration warning when it is getting close to the end of the battery charge.Love this! Would 100% buy again!

Looks exactly like the bigger units in the ads, but....
Looks exactly like the bigger unit in the ads, but it is barely half the size. That alone would be better, if the battery lasted longer than 6-8 hours! WAY shorter battery life than the larger ones.I gave it an extra star for the much improved wristband over the larger unit. The larger init has a VERY bad wristband!
