Splitter

Used the splitter and did not encounter any downsides like dimming in Philips Hue LED lights which may happen if you are trying to connect a non-Philips Hue LED strip on the other end of the splitter which I did. And it works but may have a problem of the original Philips Hue LED lights being very dim. Otherwise, this product works flawlessly with any Philips Hue LED strip EXTENSIONS. Not between the controller adapter and the base LED strip that has a smaller pin. Else, you'll need to get the Direct-to-Controller adapter cable as well.

This was the prefect solution for to make use of the excess Hue Lightstrip (because it was too long for the shelf it was on) that I otherwise would have tossed away. With this, and some extension cable, I'm able to run power to the excess strip on another shelf.

This works exactly as advertised. I was able to connect a LightStrip and a cut piece. I used this above a microwave to send LightStrips in two different directions from the same controller box. Make sure you order a direct-to-controller adapter! This does not connect directly to the control box as indicated in the product details!

I purchased these several months ago to install under cabinet lighting in my new house. Unfortunately when i finally pulled these out to start the project I found that the pin connectors are larger and wider than the connectors on the Philips Lightstrip Plus. These appear to be a standard 6 pin and the hues Lightstrip PLUS uses micro 6 pin. The package even says "Designed for Philips Hue - Lightstrip Plus" ....either this is a flawed product or this package has the wrong item in it. Either way...this was a 100% waste of money as they do not plug into the Lightstrip Plus at all. (maybe these were for the original Hue Lightstrp which appears to have the standard size 6 pin connectors) - I cannot recommend the product and I will not buy any other products from this manufacturer.

I love the Philips Hue LED light strips. I have quite a few controllers, strips. and extensions. But, Philips assumes that each run of LED strips still stand-alone. Not the case in my implementation. I'm using them to illuminate shelves and a typical run is between 96 and 160 inches. The Philips LED controller can control up to 10 meters of light strips. The Litcessory controller connectors (direct and hardwired) let you easily split the connection out in to a 6-pin connector. And, from there, you can plug in a splitter and let a single controller run two different sets of strips as if it were one. Very happy with this product. The splitter is very simple to use.

Product arrived quickly and worked perfectly to run a separate set of LEDs on the other cabinets.

Though the splitter works well, the package did not come as pictured in the Installation Guide (4th photo, Setup Example 2). The 2 pack did not have enough 6-pin male connections to split from one female side to two male sides. 4 male connectors total are needed for the 2 pack, but only 2 male connectors came in the package.

Worked perfect to split my Hue strip lights controller output for an extension strip.

Wer ernsthaft größere Lichtinstallationenen mit Hue Strips machen will, kommt an den Adapter und Verlängerungen der Fa. Litcessory nicht vorbei. Damit kann man die notwendigen Verlängerungen zwischen Steuergerät und Strips zur besseren versteckten Verlegung, Eckübergänge und Verzweigungen vornehmen. Einfach entsprechende Adapter und Verlängerungen kombinieren und stecken ohne selber Basteln und Löten zu müsssen. Alle Pins passen 100%ig. Zuverlässige Lieferung innerhalb max. 10 Tagen aus den USA zu absolut günstigen Versandpreis. Auch die Kommunikation ist tadellos. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.

L'idea del prodotto è buona, ma siccome Philips quando produce il suo controller con annessa striscia led da 2m salda il cavo sia sul controller che sulla striscia, lo splitter si può usare solo alla fine dei 2m e non subito dopo il controller.

Grwat for connecting and corners. Wouldn't use anything else
