Best simple laptop.
My first laptop , and proud to say I got my moneys worth , very long battery , I've gotten past 13 hours on battery life , really good for a work and school computer which is great for me since I'm always busy , so really says a lot and plus it's a hp which is a great brand , and I know my warranty is always hornered for a year , I type hard and sometimes slam the laptop down and its very strong and sturdy , doesn't overheat or get laggy during long uses even with 4k videos , type c charger is greatly fast and lengthy , some other reviews I've seen seem to bash this laptop but honestly if you take care of it and let it fully die and fully charge you should be good , I didn't want a high-end laptop but it sure does feel like I got one. For the model and price , I got what I expected and more.

Simple and effective
Love the Google Chrome HP - i love HP products anyways and the Google Chrome is so easy and intuitive for me.Of course the added benefit is that the price is unbeatable and it's just so user friendly - everything I need on a laptop for my business is here - simply love it.Love the screen, the size, the weight, the look ...it is fast and can keep up with me ...that's all that matters at this point. I need a computer and system that doesn't slow me down.... lol

I like everything but the display
I like everything about this chromebook except the display. It has to be tilted at just the correct angle to see it properly. I thought maybe it was me but my wife noticed it right away too. The display is also a bit dimmer than the other two chromebooks I have. Overall I'm satisfied but wish the display were better.

Perfect for its purpose!
I bought this for my wife so that she could run programs and apps for her business. Nothing fancy, but something that will get her going with good tech for day to day functions. This machine is perfect for that. It is well constructed, has a good sized screen with a bright picture, and allows her to do everything she needs to.

Great quality and great price
This is perfect for someone needing a computer but not wanting to make a huge commitment cost wise or to pay for something they don’t know whether or not they even need.

Excellent Computer
This is a great value. I bought a refurbished one for a good price and it works great!

laptop itself is nice; chromeOS sucks
spend several hours just trying to figure out how to type up a document, connect my printer, and print it. can't save files to desktop; pretty much only good for using to browse web - actually is great screen-wise, browsing-wise, turns on fast, etc.however, given Google's superior reputation in regards to search and Gmail, i imagined they'd have a superior competitor to Windows here, so i thought i'd give it a try. couldn't be more wrong. apparently you need a printer that has support for ChromeOS (any printer may or might not work and mine literally takes 10 minutes to print 2 pages and it's made by Brother - one of the largest printer manufacturers and a super common printer). i thought Google would as least have a well-built Word type of program but Google docs is definitely sub-par (i'm constantly having to search Google and implement "work arounds" which usually don't work, just to save a file, print a header , on and on and on..); it looks like they've put almost no effort into Chromebook other than a simple UI. they think that by giving you access to the Play store it's enough, but those are apps built for phones. maybe in 20 years they'll have something good here
