Decent quality, reasonably priced, multifunction with string height gauge
This checks a few boxes because it functions as a good fret rocker plus a string height measurement gauge and it is not overly priced like some popular tool brands.

Good where it counts most
My only gripe is it’s a little on the thin side. The faces all seem ground nicely and are smooth so it should glide nicely over the frets while using it and the measurement on the side are handy. All around a solid buy, you can get nicer rockers for more money but you can certainly do worse too.

It's accurate.
I used a Starret ruler that measures in 1/64ths and 1/100ths. I like my action at the 12th fret to be 2/64 between the top of the fret and bottom of the string. This is extremely low but can be done if the frets are flat.I measured the distance from the edge to the bottom of the mark for 2/64s. I was disappointed because it was actually about 1.5/64 for the mark for 2/64. But then I measured from the edge to the top of the mark, and it was as far as I could tell exactly 2/64. Alter thinking about it, this is good. The string will be in front of the fret rocker, If you were trying to measure to the bottom of the mark, the whole mark would be behind the string, and you could not see the mark unless the action was too high, and you could not tell how much too high. But since you will be measuring from the edge to the top of the mark, when the action is right, you will see the whole mark. If you see the whole mark and a sliver of black above the mark (between the top of the mark and bottom of the string), you know you are a hair above 2/64. I kept it and am really happy with it.The white marks/numbers against the black background is really important; it's very hard to see things this small and the high white/black contrast makes it easier, and that's really helpful.Great tool, as good as Stewmac's for $35, plus has all the action marks and conversion tables which Stewmacs' does not have.

Fine for string height, bad as a fret rocker
The good:For string height measurements, it’s absolutely fine. Easy to read markings and a variety of useful measurement scales make it a very useful tool. The bad:The straight edges are not straight. They may appear straight at a glance, but they deviate enough that they can give you false positives for high frets which can lead you to level unnecessarily, thus introducing problems where there previously may not have been any.How did I find out? Well, I thought I had found some high frets around fret 12 on two of my guitars. So I leveled out the problem frets and thought I was set. They more or less played okay. Then I used the rocker on my other guitars. Curiously, I was getting high fret readings on every single one of my other 7 guitars … all around the 12th fret. Either I was consistently unlucky, or the measurements were wrong. Guess which it was?I had a hunch maybe the side of the rocker I use to measure fret height around the 12th was not flat, and tested against a reference edge and lo and behold — the edge was curved out slightly. It was giving me false positives 😫So after putting a sticker on the tool saying “not for level” I ordered the Stew Mac one. Yes, it costs twice as much. But it’s my frets — one of the critical aspects of the guitar! So now I’m (not) looking forward to going back to the guitars I “leveled” the high frets on using this tool and re-level them all. Sigh. Well, at least I’m getting practice. Fret leveling as an activity is kind of meditative and therapeutic at least until you realize you leveled them wrong and you’ve got to do it all again.Tldr; if you’re looking for a string action ruler, sure, this item is fine. If you’re looking for a fret rocker, AVOID THIS. Get the StewMac one and save yourself heartache down the road.
